Great Callie - knees forward and down is a great reminder of position. Thank you.

with my horse Tara and I, I picture my legs as giving her a reassuring hug as my constant contact- thanks so much for your videos, they are great!

This is wonderful advice. I especially appreciate the advice about focussing on the knees moving foward and down (and keeping the joints soft in general). I'm sure that will make a big difference next time I ride. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your video - as always, very well-explained. I am now practising using my leg/calf aid rather than my heel aid to go forward. It mean reconfiguring my leg position into the classic position as you describe above.

I been told to wrap my legs around the horse as possible, specially when seated trot and canter, in order not to loose balance. I did not feel comfortable with that advise. Thanks to a prior video of your you spoke about leg positioning, I follow your advise, and I succeed in seated trot, but not in seated canter, where I still squeez (mixture of fear and luck of experience, not finding the right position/firm stable contact. Is the squeez inevitable in sitting canter to hold balance ? thanks for the vidéo!
