Keystone Fuzion 429 fix for slide-out belly damage

Күн бұрынOn our Keystone Fuzion 429, the underside of the large slide-out (the one with the fridge, stove, and couch) was getting damaged each time we put it in or out. On this slide-out, the underside has a DARCO material that helps the slide-out slide over the threshold. No rollers to help. We installed a pair of "BLK SLD-OUT REPAIR PANEL" that we purchased form a Lazy Days RV. The tech that fixes slide-outs recommended this as a solution.

Nice job. Adding rollers might also be worthwhile.

Yeah, still think about that. Worry that we would have to take the entire slide out.

@@MarkSwanUSA BAL makes two styles intended to be retrofitted without removing the slide. One style is for 3/4” thick threshold and bolts to the side of the rig/flooring. The other for 1/2” thick threshold might require cutting some of the threshold but I think it can be done with the slide in place.

@@MarkSwanUSA to be fair I know that they are intended for BAL slides. Don’t know how they’d fit in other applications.
