I discovered some troubling issues when I took the plow off the General this spring. After talking with the KFI guys at Hay Days, I have a plan to address them. I'll explain what's going on what they suggested I do about it.

I hooked my KFI plow up to my 6X6 today. Noticed it was a little hard to get the pin in on one side. I suspected something was bending. I didn't look it over that good just cleaned up the little bit of wet snow we had.

Those plows take a lot of punishment, and it’s possible you bent one end of the push tube. However, I always end up shuffling it back and forth to get everything lined up, even if it’s not bent.

A starting point for the springs is too slide a business card into the spring

My fairlead is flipped the other way around...

Hadn't thought of that. I'll eventually have to address the bent fairlead mount and steel bumper. When I do, I might try it the way you have it. Seems like that might be stronger.

New push tube looks a lot stiffer and the added pully should really help!
