First, I want to clarify that now, only your DEGREE needs to be attested. You can now receive your confirmation email without having to appear for an interview. Someone told me that if i have got an interview from KFPUM, it means i almost selected and most of the time it happen. A Few people got rejection after interview. Is it true? Waiting for your valuable reply. thanks

The final selection criteria are only known to the interview committee. What I know is that your chances are high if you are asked to appear in an interview. If anyone is not selected even after appearing in the interview, it may be because their performance did not quite meet the required standards.

Yea. Only a few departments have conducted interviews this semester. Other departments will send acceptance emails to candidates who have fulfilled the criteria by the end of April (+10 days). Good luck!

1. Bro, i dont have IELTS/TOEFL Proficency certificate. But, i have a medium of instruction paper for English language from Ministry of Education and my previous university separately. Can I merge and upload those two papers as one in the IELTS upload section or leave that section blank as it's not mandatory at current stage? 2. My Major GPA is 3.62 and CGPA is 3.36. On KFUPM portal, it just says "GPA", so which one of my GPA I must enter on the portal?

1. Leave that section as of now. That medium of instruction paper is not accepted. You need to submit a valid IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo score if you get accepted, within the end of the first semester. 2. As far as I know, we have to enter the score that takes into consideration all the courses. So, in your case, it is the CGPA. 3. I am not sure. It should be mentioned somewhere during the application process. If not, keep your SOP to 1 or 1.5 pages. 4. There are no restrictions on email domains.

As a first-year MS student, my knowledge of the exact selection procedure may be limited. However, based on what I have gathered so far, the university tends to look for a minimum of 75% in your bachelor's degree for Master's program applications (FULLY FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP). It is highly likely that they consider SOPs and CVs as crucial components of the selection process.

No, they don't reject applicants for that reason. You have the flexibility to submit a valid IELTS score, if selected, by the end of the first semester.

You're welcome! I'm glad the video was helpful. Regarding TOEFL scores, while the website specifies acceptance for TOEFL iBT scores (70 for MS, 80 for PhD), there's no mention of the home edition. 3/4 is qualifying criteria, my son's cgpa was 3.54, now based on volume of applications they raised the cutoff to 3.8+ so out of selection, now no need of add ons like projects, internship experiences, or whatever, and we say we should not stress out the child with expectations of high scores 😔

The deadline for the August 2024 intake was December 17, 2023. After that, applicants receive a response from the university within 3 months. The university receives thousands of applications, so it's understood that it will take time. Also, when I applied in November 2022 for the August 2023 session, I got a response from the university in mid-February 2023, and it was an interview call. I was notified in late March 2023 about my acceptance. So, expect a response by the end of March or mid-April 2024 if you get accepted. Hope for the best.

As per the official website, a four-year Bachelor’s (B.S.) Degree is required if you want to apply for the master’s program at KFUPM. cgis.kfupm.edu.sa/admission_requirements.html However, you can still submit the application and hope for the best, though the likelihood of acceptance may be low.

Non-Saudis residing in KSA can apply for Master's and PhD programs at KFUPM. However, fully funded scholarships are not provided. They receive basic scholarships and must also pay for accommodation and semester fees. This is what I know. If I get more information, I will update you.

As a scholarship student, you're exempt from the visa fees, but you'll need to cover the processing fee charged (which includes appointment fees, sms and courier charges) by Tasheer (Visa office).

However, try logging into the portal, going to the applications page, and clicking on the summary option. At the end, there will be a recommendations section. Check if there is an edit option next to the 'Resend invitation' option.

I have giveb the interview and also today I received the confirmation email about admission with Benifits and Expectation file. They give me a link to upload my passport details and passport front page. I have also done this and submitted. However, after giving all the details and submitting properly. When I re-enter the portal there is a 'print' option of the form. I download the form from the 'print' option but my passport detais are nto shown in the pdf! I think they are hiding the passport details in the form as without giving every information (filling every blank) one can not submit the file.

However, if you're selected and enroll in the university, you'll need to submit your IELTS or TOEFL score either when you report to the university or at the start of the second semester. So, in the long run, it's a mandatory requirement. This applies to all applicants, including those who completed their bachelor's with English-taught courses.

In the email we were told to log in, fill in the form, click 'Confirmation' checklist (Accept Offer), and upload our passport My question: For example, if I have accepted this offer, and then I decide to withdraw from KFUPM, will there be a penalty (for example: because KFUPM has already arranged the student visa for me, am I required to pay back the visa fee to KFUPM)? Or besides that, will there be any problems in the future? Actually, I am not aware of any cases where a student has accepted an offer and then withdrawn from the campus, so I don't have specific information about that situation. If you're confident that you'll receive offers from other universities, you might be tempted not to accept this one (which I wouldn't advise). However, *I recommend accepting this offer*, as you won't regret it later. KFUPM is one of the best universities in the world, and you will undoubtedly benefit from the program, which will also aid you in the future. Ultimately, the decision is yours. I suggest discussing it with some of your professors, as it's a crucial decision. All the best.
