I m from North indian but i feel south is more creative and bold than bollywood. South actors are giving it all in the movie. But bollywood superstars are producing trashes like salman khan, thugs of hindostan, zero, dilwale I feel sorry for zero, because they used vfx to make him look dwarf. Srk is great actor but he has been doing romantic character for so long. Its not difficult for him. We expect more from srk. He should play versatile characters.

Everything u said in ur perspective when u have zero knowledge of KGF is okay because it is not a fantasy it is based on true incidents with some fantasy added to it and the place kolar gold fields KGF exists even today fully functional in the kolar district of Karnataka India.. It has practical shots not CGI shots..it was completely shot in Kolar and some parts of Bombay(Mumbai).. History says this gold fields or that region existed 17000 years ago..now it has been limited to some range in Kolar district.. U are right its modern day bahubali(not story wise - because of the making and its hype that sounds like bahubali for the neighbouring state(i.e Karnataka) of AndhraPradesh and Telangana (where bahubali comes from) but except bahubali is just a fantasy fiction.. I would strongly recommend you to watch this movie..it won't disappoint you for sure✌

KGF means Kolar Gold Fields. It had much gold. This movie is based on a true story. The rich guy who discovered the Gold field started to mine in undercover, he made village people slaves to mine gold forcefully. The hero of the movie is from Karnataka migrated to Bombay for survival. He became a Don, actually good in killing people. But, he did lots of good deeds. When India asked for a loan from World Bank in 1980s, they cannot approve without security. The PM of India showed KGF as collateral. The hero of movie rescues the slaves of KGF. The movie has much violence plus lots of emotional scenes. The Kannada movie industry has no reputation compared to other South Indian movie industry but this movie surprised us.

Best part is it’s also being dubbed in Hindi and backed by Farhan Akhtar and excel movies 👍🏻 Great work

Why don't guys give reaction about #Ugramm which was directed Prashant Neel who directed the #KGF!? It may enlighten you about sequence and the story narration style of director. I would recommend but as you said you don't see any kind of Mad Max Fury Road probably yes because Mad max Fury Road was purr friction one but KGF isn't. It is based on true story happened back Karnataka in late 70's I am really interested to see you reviewing about #Ugramm movie. Blood Diamond!? Nah it's boring story of smuggling and black slavery. The interesting part is here about #KGF is they even haven't released the full cast video yet. There are some top class actors in the movie Ramya Krishnan Nassar Anantanag and Vashishta along with Malvika. Those are pretty big acting names in South Indian films. When I say what if Jason Mamot's "Aqua Man" will get tough competition in India if Prashant Neel indeed delivered as we expected him from after #Ugramm. Another thing it's just chapter 1, no one really knows about Chapter 2 but let me give you a hint, what if Rocky was the son of someone who fought against Kolar bloodshed brats and git killed by them and made to leave his family in survive of that child? Revenge game may be? If the story is same like as I said still you miss the point what elements made director to stretch it to chapter 2? There are others angles to it as I see from the hype behind KGF. Let's hope film do good. By the way film was made in 80+ croes and it's already earned the 80% of amount in rights in other languages. Whatever it earns in Hindi sectors it's bonus

So her dying wish was for him to become the most powerful man in the world and he starts off by working for the gang that runs Mumbai city and then the boss of his boss offers him a job to kill the boss’s boss’s boss who owns the gold fields so he has to go to the gold mines where all the people inside the goldmines are slaves and beaten and killed if they are blind or deaf or not able to work and yash makes it his mission to own the gold mines and then flashbacks show him as the most dangerous man in the entire world during the 1960s or 70s
