Why am I binge watching Jail videos?

I legit just got released and I’m binge watching these. I was only locked up for a day and I’m TRAUMATIZED

Well you really didn't get the real feel being you weren't in general population!

I’m happy I found one of those videos. Because it taught me to not to do the wrong things in public. Because being in jail or prison doesn’t look like fun.

I was arrested, and released in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan. I couldn’t believe how crazy half the people in the holding cells were, banging their flip flops on the glass, screaming at the top of their lungs, striping naked.... jail is no fun place. I’m glad I was released by judges orders that day. When the booker told me “well son, you won’t be getting served lunch..” I was like “uhh.. just couple cups of water will do, and I hope I’m not being jailed beside the dude banging his flip flops...” he said “no, you are being released” I couldn’t believe it. Even the officers were extremely respectful. Upon being released they only cuffed me in front to escort me back to my vehicle. Front seat ride in the cruiser and all. When I was originally arrested they even asked if I’d like double cuffs so I’m comfortable. Yes I screwed up, but I completely respected their line of work,

they wake you up at 4am for breakfast? fuck that

the boredom will get me the most

Man I have issues of doing bad things but in my brain it tells me it really isn’t that bad so this video makes me want to work harder on my issue before i end up in there thank god I found this video 🙏🏻

I would troll the prison guards by hiding in the corner so they can't see you when they check on you

the us jails are so dumb... how are bad people supposed to better themselves in a bad environment, there is no education or learning just sitting wasting your life in a brick cell I would literally rather die than have to spend my life in that hellhole.

She got the watered down version. Obviously that still ain't fun but in the real 1 is gonna be a million times worse. Sharing with 3 other people she doesnt know, having to be in Genpop, and possibly spending several days locked up.

I got arrested once in my early 20s now I’m 45. I had to stay overnight and trust me I learned my lesson. I have never broken the law again. 😂

wow at least the prison in usa has beds.

I've been in a psycthtric hospital locked up and it's like jail still. You don't get eat when you want to you don't get to take shower as much

I just feel bad for the ones who go in there for something they didn't know was illegal. Not everyone is aware of all laws

What about people who are wrongly convicted?

I wish my stay in county was like this. food was inedible, 24hr lockdown, no books, lights never shut off.....

Having to go to school+high school+collage is basically a 20 year prison sentence.

I feel so bad for my sister!😭😭 She was locked up in prison for 3 years!😭😭 When she told me about i felt so bad for her...and it's harder for girls in prison... my sister was discriminated and abused by guards.....she was harrased by other inmates...I feel so bad for her 😭 I hope she never goes to prison again it's horrible 😭

Apparently most people don't hate it. They keep going back over and over. I definitely do what it takes to stay TF out!!

I was in jail in 8 1/2 months, it sure did changed my life for the better and rehabilitated me! But I'm never going back, it a whole different world in there. I got released June 19th 2020, as of writing this I've been free about 7 months and I'm a little over 6 months pregnant. On probation for 3 years, probation does help me and keep me in check. I also have the most lenient probation officer and she never really checks in with me, she lets do whatever I want. Only thing I can't do is drugs and alcohol, which I have no interest in that.

I got outta jail this morning. This place looks like heaven compared to the county jail in Jacksonville Florida. I cried for 8 hours. I had a warrant that was 3 years old I had no idea about. And got pulled for speeding that’s when I found out. Never been to jail but once. 3 years ago and they put me right back. Long story short. I was drunk Me and my husband x now were fighting he broke my rib well I punched him in the face in front of a cop Bc I had Enough so I got charged with domestic violence . Tbh it was terrible they didn’t give me changes of clothes. My roomie bleed through her pants they made her wear it for 5 hours. She got blood on the sheets I gave her mine. . They treated me like a animal. Was a horrible experience the worst part is they had a clock in there and it was set to the wrong time. And they would literally cuss you out if you asked what time it was. Food was horrible. It was the worst experience of my life.

it sucks. i was in county for less than a week, can't imagine even doing 30 fuckin days.

I’ve been on a psych ward at the VA a handful of times…the boredom (weekends especially) is the most difficult thing.

I got arrested for public intoxication and I only spent a day in there and it felt like a week, I'm trying to stay good. I was 21 and they had me in a brown vest naked in a cold room

Except the pretty blonde news talker isn't getting the same treatment as someone right off the streets.

Not having privacy, having rules, pooping in public, none of that bothers me, its the boredom. Ive never been locked up in jail but i have been arrested and taken to psych lock up. The clothes didnt fit me, so i was in my underwear without socks and i was freezing cold. I asked for a blanket and they refused it and eventually brought a thin sheet. I put it over my face to warm my nose and the guard told me to put it down, i refused and 4 guards fought with me for 5 minutes or so. They took my sheet. So i was in there for about 30 hours, mostly naked. Its the other lunatics i dont like in there. They are loud and obnoxious all the time and very boring, no tv or radio. In jail, you have general pop which would suck on another level

why don't people read books? Honestly I would love being in a jail to read all the books I never seem to have the time to read in the outside world due to distractions such as watching this video.

When u first get arrested, they tell u "if you don't wanna be told what to do, don't come to my house"

Know all too well. Did a year in county jail. Not my best moments in life and not proud of it. I was in a low security side of the jail but still..... everything you take for granted, you really value it when you’re locked up. Food is edible, bedding s terrible, no privacy, very little privileges and not to mention, not being able to hug or see your family. Only 1 hour a week and it’s behind glass! I was able to “work” while in jail in the kitchen that ultimately kept me sane. Not a fun experience people. Fly straight is all I can say!

Doesnt count when they put you in PC.. you have to interact with the inmates if you want the real jail experience.

I would voluntarily spend a night in jail, as long as I had a big bottle of water by my bed. I absolutely need water throughout the night!

when you’re not in solitary confinement all by your self 24/7 , county jail actually isn’t as horrible as they make it out to be..

it takes at least 14 hours just to get booked into a lot of jails.
