Just to clear a few things up brothers and sisters: Levi did not die. Levi was in a dream between the moment "his whole cell turned dark..." to when he finally escaped the darkness of the experience when "the room turned black and his face turned pale". This experience is centred around sincerity in ones good actions and to be cautious of the fire that "...can consume you"; the fire, in this case, being pride of thinking we are better than everyone else, whether they're Muslim or not - God is the judge of all. Levi lost his way in the dream by being too over zealous (even in his good actions) and by not managing his expectations and taking heed of Khaleel's ultimate advice to regulate and keep his ego in check. Levi had his head "in the clouds" and gradually lost sincerity in the good actions he was doing; Levi indirectly says this himself when he was mentioning how all he thought about when giving dawah to others was to belittle them. Prophetic traditions relate how the hellfire will also house people of knowledge, out of the insincerity and arrogance they once held when they performed those good actions in the world. Levi woke up from this experience understanding the concept of sincerity and learnt from this (we hope); the lesson being that pride is "treacherous", even when doing good works. A breakdown of who Khaleel could be: Remember, "in the corner, a big man, with his head on the ground" - the big man, Khaleel, is depicted as a man, not the Angel of Death. Khaleel is real, and there are many instances where he's referred to specifically as just a man. This man could not have been a metaphor for the Angel of Death because of the language Khaled uses throughout the songs storyline and specifically how he portrays Khaleel as a man is indicative enough that Khaleel was a human being, a man, and not an Angel. It also doesn't make sense that the Angel of Death would be Khaleel's educator here, as it could be contested that other Angels could also be more befitting of the role of educator to provide this enlightenment; the likes of Sayyidina Gibraeel (AS), whose sole purpose was to bring about revelation - so, one could say this experience was Khaleel's own revelation. Nevertheless, I don't believe a character Angel is what's being portrayed here. Khaleel is also not an inmate. The way he is portrayed and characterised here in being a fellow brother; and even a prison guard who may have utilised the previously vacant cell for prayer until Levi "...walked into his new crib...shocked at what he found... a big man, with his head on the ground". Practicing muslims can relate to times when they've being away from home and have used any sensible, discrete and clean place to pray - this may have been one of such instances. When Levi enters his new cell and finds "a big man with his head on the ground" he's not only taken aback by a man bowing down when he asks "wagwan, what's this?!", but he also questions why this man is even in his cell to begin with; this is evident when Levi himself asks "...and who's this don in my cell?". Although prisoners share cells, Levi appears to not have even expected anyone in his new cell, so it may indicate Khaleel never belonged there in the first place, at least not as a fellow inmate. However, the most corroborating fact that confirms Khaleel is a prison guard is when it's mentioned towards the end where Khaleel is the one who informs Levi "through the window" of his impending release "in a couple of days". Khaled even makes subtle reference to Khaleel being a prison guard through his change of tone and vocals at this point in the song, inferring this is Khaleel. Irrespective of whether or not others believe this character narrative of Khaleel, the focus of the song is one of ensuring sincerity in good works (by checking your ego first and foremost), to not belittle others (even those of little or no apparent faith) and being an upstanding individual of excellent character equipping yourself with knowledge of yourself, others and the world around you (knowledge being the only source that can counter ignorance and arrogance). God can change the condition of a people without human intervention whatsoever, and the Sahaba (AS) themselves were testament to this; Allah transformed the worst of people and instilled imān, righteousness and sincerity deep into their hearts to become the best of mankind after The Prophets (AS). Khaled embodied so much in 6 minutes; herein lies great lessons for us all. If I'm wrong, Khaled can correct us.

I was fortunate enough to have a brief conversation with this brother, a very humble person. He helped me after a very dark time in my life. When I heard this for the first time I appreciated the powerful message behind these words. It's a harsh reality that we overlook. My journey to stay on the straight path is a battle I must overcome each day. We are all at different stages of our lives, yet our destination shall be the same, so let's show others compassion during hardship and love each other for the sake of the Almighty. A gifted lyricist who is using his talent to share a postive message with us all.

Bro, i don't care what the ummah says about your music cuz I understand why you keep making more music, your music is a weapon, using the west's weapon against them, music can alter the mind and your music alters the soul! Allahu Akbar! I left Islam for years and recently retook my shahada cuz my heart was lost but after hearing your music it was like your music was the key to unlock my heart and allow me to come back to our ummah. Islam is the greatest religion on earth and being Muslim is the best decision I could ever make. I understand music is haram but again I understand why u do it and for that I'm very grateful that we have a man like you to touch the hearts of the unbelievers. My brother you are a blessing 🙌

And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Who's this don in my cell? he turned around and said "salaam alaikum brother im khalill" he said "blood i aint no indian so dont speak them tings to me" he said "Brother that was Arabic and i was greeting you with peace" but why "you down on the floor looking frail and weak hearted" he said "im bowing to the reason that my heart beat started" im a free man babylon na run we im a slave to the most high and thats the reason im free Levi took a step back and he began to assess so many years on the rows meant that he could fully inspect another mans heart to check for signs of a liar but behind khalil's eyes he saw nothing but fire so he was down with it he decided that he could trust him 2 weeks later you guessed it Levi was a muslim not long before Levi reflected what he had learnt ready to go N make a change now the tables had turned khalil pulled him to the side and said ac you need to listen i see the fire in your eyes and that youre ready for this mission but listen what im saying cuz i swear this path is brutal and that fire in your eyes be careful that it dont come soon you but Levi couldn't hear cuz he was in the clouds dreaming so many years without a purpose now his life had found meaning so that night when he was praying with his head to the floor he said a pray from his heart so much deeper than before he said God i know you hear me and i only seek your pleasure the worlds an evil place i swear im gonna make it better as those words left his lips its presence made itself known his whole cell turned dark he knew that he was not alone the next week came by and he was granted his freedom but a man upon a mission to rid the world of demons he hit the BLOCK to go and see some old friends he told them that he was out of the game and they need to repent they just looked at him and laughed and he said its cool you found God but God aint paying my bills and he aint handing out jobs they broke his heart tears dropped in his eyes they were swell cuz in levi's sight he saw that they were destined for hell so we were studied on the weak and then go out in the week set up this stall up in the market and then go out to preach fam all i see is lost souls but how could he change em he knew that God had chosen personally to go save them standard debating for all the reasons that why they all needed to repent for all their sins in their life dropping scientific knowledge about the heavens and skies secretly loving the feeling when they all couldnt reply so when one day when he was preaching out his heart in the park a young brother approches his table with a question to ask so tell me if religion has the answers for us all why cant a man made religion be the answer to our call be the question for our fall bring the truth to what is false love is done left this world n religion is the cause the whole world has gone mad fam religion is the source so you must be smoking crack if you think ill submit to yours his words echoed strong so everybody could hear passerbys they had stopped and they began to come near his heart beat faster when he seen the crowd this was his moment to prove to them all the knowledge he found took a minute to pause just to think how he would do it cuz he knew just what he would say to make the brother look stupid but as he would respond his heart skipped a beat because his mind had gone blanker than an A4 sheet all of the facts that he had studied had gone straight down the drain its like gods hand had come down and ripped it straight from his brain seeing he was struggling for a reason to explain the young brother left and the crowd did the same drunk with race he punched the brother right in the face speaking with his fist cuz he had nothing to say turned his back to walk way but he was missing the fact that underneath his shirt the young brother was strapped bang bang two shells flew straight in his back crowd dispursed kids screaming from the sound of the strap his body felt cold but the bullets they burned red stains on his white thobe and his vision was blurred mind was racing aching his blood had covered the pavement but in the mist of all the chaos he felt a presence was awaiting scared to leave this world as he turned to his breath cuz the presence that was awaiting was the angel of death (milo kramot)? Well as the arabs would say ripped his soul from his chest and he was carried away screaming to the angel for some mercy to spare but one look at his face and he saw nothing was there plz wait plz i aint ready for this send me back ya rabb man im only a kid What was that ? A voice came through and chills covered his back What Did you think i didnt know? Did you think i didnt see? And that night in your cell what you thought that wasnt me? Preaching out my words when you was empty inside thinking you was better than all of us fam i dare you to lie but your a big man now with your big beard now and when that fire burns i bet you gonna be sincere now busy tryina save the world from all the devil and sin but you forgot to check the miror and face the devil within he couldnt take no more his hands covered his face closed his eyes and he prayed and he proceeded to say ya rabbi send me back to earth for one more day give me time to repent so i can change my ways until the room turned black and his face went pale looking around to see if he was in the fires of hell naah this cant be true i must be under a spell cuz he was crying on the floor under the roof of his cell whats this? Wait what Wait, what do you mean? I know say you aint saying that was a dream? Wheres khalil he figured this thing out man I swear but looking around the cell he was the only one there banging his cell doors crying out for his friend was he still in the dream? If so then when will it end? He heard the guards voice on the other side of the door but a voice he could swear he had heard it before youll be out soon kid just a couple a days and throught the hole in the door he saw a familliar face.......

So what maybe she just listened once to see what its about, and now she wants one without instruments, or maybe she asks it for other people who wanne listen but can't because it has music.

#MusicByAnz yup, that is correct. I listened to it for two reasons. Firstly, to support my brother in deen. We are not all in the same place in our lives, and our struggles are different. However, regardless of where we are in our journey we should still support and uplift each other. We are all just human. And sometimes some Muslims get on their high horses and forget that. I pray to Allah that He keeps me far from that. I happen to know that KZfaq is the way my brother is making ends meet. To me it seems like a small thing for me to sit here for 6:08 listen to a song to help my brother keep his bills paid. But, because of my own struggle I can't listen to it over and over again like I do his other nasheeds, because I may fall into something that I let go of fisabilillah. My second reason for listening to the song although it has instruments is because I had originally came to the video with my media volume muted. He usually puts up a message at the beginning of the vids that don't include music. When I saw that he hadn't put one up for this one, I just let the vid play, and started reading comments. When I saw the highly positive feedback I decided to give the vid a second view, and listen to what he had to say. It is an awesome message, and He did an amazing job. I wish that I could listen to it again. But like I said his test is not mine. Plus I have children watching me. I don't want to fall into the sin of hypocrisy. But, As Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu brother I hope you have a good day. 😊

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 69, Number 494 : Narrated by Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: That he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of *musical* instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."

Khaled never disappoints me.. 🤧😭 It's crazy how we all still alive for a reason... we alive but we alive TOGETHER... same ppl same sins same experiences. I think the ppl that are left on earth (which is us all) got a similar mindset or intentions... the difference is that some of us make an action that nobody knows but god, and some do actions to show others. God knows best. 🥀🌧
