Punjab could be the hemp capital of the world. It's a profitable crop which is native to the land, doesn't drain the water table like rice. Imagine Punjab being the key to ending the need to cut trees to make paper.

Wait. On one hand we talk about how Khalistan will be good because of egalitarian examples like Maharaja Ranjit Singh who had no capital punishment in his empire. Skip to saying we should have a Khalistan that gives capital punishment for anyone who disrespects any scripture.

The founder of Basics of Sikhi, Bhai Jagraj, said that the effort to create a Khalistan would be the same amount as taking over the whole of India. He coined the term 'Duniastan'. The question remains: If you have the political will to create a new country, would it really be less effort to take over India? And if it is the same effort, which is the better ultimate goal?

The talk of Sikhs ruling all of India is counterproductive, devisive. Therefore probably planted by the azad hindu to divide and confuse Sikhs to prevent them demanding their rightful freedom and homeland.

Home minister Buta Singh asked baba kharak singh to do the kar seva of akal takht sahib. But they refused. Then their was negotiation, baba khark singh agreed on the condition that the army leave but the governement did not wait, they brought in baba santa singh . Baba santa singh came in but him and followers cleared the rubble. They were brough under army and police escort and protected by them . A governemnt contractor was brought in to rebuilt with the budha dal acting as a front. Baba santa singh was excommunicated. Thankfully , baba santa singh shortly before they passed away saw sense and asked for forgiveness , youtube video can be found. In 1986 , sarbat khalsa decided to tear down the 'sarkari' takht and rebuilt it.

To be factually correct Sant ji was supporting congress candidates in elections against Akali Dal even there are newspaper articles of time he was advocating congress and Dal Khalsa MLA/MP’s in Punjab state and SGPC!! GBS Sidhu gives a brief detail on this issue in his book as well. The congress first promoted him against the Akali Dal to gain power in Punjab and also falsely promised the demands of Sikhs which they betrayed later leading to the mistrust between Sant Ji and Indira Gandhi which eventually resulted in big conspiracy of Blue Star in an attempt to destroy the Sikh pride and religious sentiments

@@rajjudge9013 I never expected you in the journey 😆 there’s a whole history of newspaper rivalry of Akali Dal, Congress and Dal Khalsa!! Hind Samachar, Ajit, Punjab Kesari, The Tribune etc which were used to build narratives by posting stings, pictures and event notes for their respective political ideologies and against their opponents 🙌

I am a Sikh, I don't want Khalistan now, if you want to change my mind show me that you can run even a Gurdwara, never mind a country... First win elections in Punjab and show to us that you can sort out all the problems there and THEN. You can say 'Trust us'...

First find out who runs those gurudwaras, second we won elections in 1989 it was the centre govt that forced presidents rule over Punjab in response to this.

The video on 1984 by Cogito. He talks about how Bhindrawale was trained and finded by Rajiv Gandhi and such. May be worth having some dialogue with him as youre all from the UK.

Look! I want to point out that the Cognito video is based mostly on the propaganda widely spread by India about the 1980s and 90s Punjab. So if anyone reads your comment and decides to waste their time on cognito video about Khalistan, know that you'll only be believing lies and half truths, that video makes some good points, but largely furhter spreads propaganda and ofcourse it's Khalistan movement whitesplained. Why are people so adamant about hearing Sikh stories from non-sikhs, is beyond me. Perhaps, you'd be better off watching/ listening to Ep 1-4 of this very series. I certainly feel the need to listen to Sikh voices on this subject.

One thing I do not understand about these Khalistanis is why they never talk about taking the whole punjab including the Pakistani punjab. If f they want to make Khalistan they need the whole punjab. I have a question if there were sikh leaders put into jail. then has anyone ever tried to break them from the prison if not then why not, because i haven't been to punjab a lot, but i know most of the jails in punjab i've seen from like movies and stuff in im guessing is like the country side of punjab they are like made up of bricks or like they are not really how jails look here in america.

I still couldn't understand that sikhs migrated to India from Pakistan in 1947 from their Muslim brothers .None of the Muslim killed any Sikh in 1946 to 1947. Pakistan has built biggest Chouwk in Lahore on the name of Sardar Bhagat Singh ji.

Guru Gobind Singh's provenance or place of origin in near current Indian Uttarakhand/Patna, the then Northwestern Province. Can we hate our own Mothership. It's like hating your parents coz you got hit by them a couple of times to correct your behavior. And wanting to go build a separate establishment in your own home. The secessionist nature of the Sangharsh was an issue, as it can threaten any country's territorial integrity. If every sect wants to leave the state, countries will splinter to pieces. This was the primary reason. It was never the people. People were our own always. The way the borders are being spoken about callously is precisely the reason why the states machinery takes a hard line on this. Major Israr said if June 1984 hadn't happened, the actions of those involved were such that a chunk of India's land would have been lost and open to infiltration by all external elements. Things like Farm laws are the same across all states in India. Yet only 1 state has a problem. Its like managing a raucous teenage son for the Central Govt. Young minds shouldn't be poisoned by Sikh parents who migrated in the 80s overseas and should be taught the correct accounts. Teach them to live like model citizens first.

I feel your podcast is so one sided that the Sikhs seem too be perfect. Why does all the bad negative things happen all over the world. I believe this is all hukum beyond human understanding god is doing everything exactly as he wants too. Just like Maharaja Ranjit Singhs raja it only lasted 50 years .

Punjab only belongs to Hindu khatris both sides of the border study the ancient/medeival & modern history of nothern india and sikhism is a sect & not a religion. Understand what Guru ghar/ Guru Gaddi means in sanatan dharam & tomorrow Radha Soami sect, Sirsa Baba sect , Namdhari sect, Sai baba sect, Panipat Sect followers they will all claim land within India so I request these religious you tube experts to STFU. Why don't you come & say these things in India to Khatri/Arora/Pandit(Kashmiri) Sikhs & see there reactions.

No offence to you Khanna but I have long wondered what do Hindu Khatris have against the Sikhs in general. It is very apparent and not a myth. In fact sometimes the Baniyas are more cordial with the Sikhs. I am a Khatri Sikh myself and have felt this attitude for a long time. Is it because we left the great hindu religion?

1982 ਤੱਕ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਵਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਰੇਆਮ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਫਿਰ rss ਦਾ ਕਰੀਬੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਭਿੰਡਰਾਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਵਕਤ ਤੋ ਹੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ rss ਦੀ ਚਮਚਾ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਏਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਬੱਚਿਤਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਆਦ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ 10ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਤੱਕ ਬੋਧੀ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਬਦਲ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਲਾਮੀ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਵਾਦ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸਲਾਮੀ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁਰਾਤੱਤਵ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਿਕ ਸਬੂਤ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ 10ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਵਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਅੱਜ ਬੁੱਧ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਰਾ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਮਾਤਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਏਹ ਵੀ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੀ ਬੱਚਿਤਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਵਿਚ ਸਭ ਕੁਛ ਝੂਠ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ । ਪਰ ਹਾਸੋਹੀਣੀ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇਵਾਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਬੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚ ਮਾਇਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੇ। ਟਕਸਾਲ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਹੈ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ।

Seeing comments like we can’t run a gurdwara let alone a country makes me laugh, we didn’t do too bad with maharajas Ranjit’s singhs kingdom. Put all petty arguments aside and unite under the banner of Nishan Sahib, you watch what we can achieve. We have many people with Sikh appearance that are not working for betterment of Sikhi but to keep us as slaves.we need sovereignty for Sikhi to flourish and for the Khalsa to fulfill its objective as set by Akaal Purakh and guru Sahib

Bots try so hard disregard the idea of Khalistan, saying it will never happen etc. The idea of India was never imagined under British Rule , it happened. Making up stories of Hindus massacred won’t change the fact many Panjabi Hindus would support Khalistan, like they voted for Bhai Amritpal Singh. Keep saying no one wants Khalistan but then you kill people that are part of the Panjab referendum, why are they afraid then. Also you get more passionate about Sikhs and Khalistan yet China keeps taking more Indian land and everyone accepts it..This colonial concept of India won’t last 100 years, all states have their own culture and customs that are different, trying to foster one national identity is fruitless
