Thanks and a big salute to the guest for doing the right thing against adversity!! As someone who is living in Brampton, I can attest to what the guest mentioned is very true. Every 3rd car has Farmers Protest or Khalistan stickers. You can only be passive supporter or active supporter, moderates are fast diminishing in the community.

@@SR-mv2mf Someone has to be the voice of sanity, if just keep running away from problems how will it fix itself. In fact I would say more Hindus should move in to dilute the dominance. Lot of Southern Indians are moving in to West Brampton, that will be the counter balance.

Depressing. Very similar here in the UK. Our Conservative Party has resisted the lobby and I guess this is where moderate Sikhs will now turn - even though we are not natural Tories.

Huh? Thousands of Sikhs from Pakistan and Afghanistan have made their way to Canada as well as India to flee terror. The ppl that have come to Canada were sponsored by Sikh charities, ur also forgetting Khalsa aid is in the Middle East and other places where terror is spread. Ur argument is useless.

Wheather my sikh mate will like it or not they all join hands when someone talk about religion.. only thing we could counter it is by uniting hindu politically.. sikh are so loud they could woo down hindu hindus but hindus have more numbers & funds.. hindu should support right wing parties there & government of india should actively support them.. thats only way we could beat these khalistani sikhs..

Khalis dont realise that they are being used as a pawn in a larger geopolotical game. In the end they dont will not matter...but right now as a somewhat stateless but influencial rich groups, their sentiment would be exploited for east vs west game.

On what ground did sikhi became a religion ? the core philosophy is all taken from vedanta , upanishads and bhakti movements of hinduism. sikhi is a paanth and not a mazab if sikhi is a religion then there would be 1000s of smaller religions within hinduism.

Mp approves lmia for businesses. That businesman sell that one lmia for 20000 dollars. So if one business got 10 Lmia s he will make 200000$.usually they gave 25%to mps or parties in funds.

Typical one sided Bhagta conversation. Deol fails to talk about the what the emergency did to Punjab. How Indira forced the SYL bill on us. He fails to recognize how the KPS gill era radicalized the average Sikh. How the experience of state terror runs deep in the Sikh psyche. How Jaswant khalra the person who brought the truth of over 4000 fake encounters of Sikh youths, was murdered brutally by Gill’s goons is not mentioned. How the rights of this part of the Indian population were trampled by the Indian state is not even recognized. But alas he talks about Hindu rights, that too were trampled by the khalistanis as a form of backlash to what they experienced. Today the same Hindu demands Hindu rashtra, yet Deol doesn’t even talk about this. The Indian state has conjured up a new religious identity of Hinduism and has forced it on Sikhs under the article 25 b, yet he doesn’t talk about this. Sounds more like a person who only wants to consider what the Sikhs did wrong and wholly ignore why the need for Khalistan is felt in the first place. Kushal and Deol both are westernized libertarians whose goal is fundamentally anti democracy where only elites( whites in west and UC Hindus in India) can continue their monopoly on power. Just like Canadians let Quebec decide it’s future through freedom of expression and a referendum so too separatist movements in India should be allowed to do. But what do we see in India ? Banning of Punjabi singers and their politically inspired songs, we feel silenced and crushed under the suppression by the state. This is the same. Indians did not tolerate British suppression of their freedom, similarly we do not tolerate Hindu suppression of our freedoms. But of course Deol does not talk about this.

The major difference between both ideologies being - Hindu Rashtra ideology is based on not just United Bharat but a greater Bharat (Akhand Bharat) which includes a Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afganistan. But Khalistan ideology is based on fragmentation of India with just a small portion of original Punjab declared as a separate nation called Khalistan. So one ideology is based on unification whereas other is based on division. So if a sikh has to choose between two then it's upto him to decide whether he wants to give up places like Nanded Sahib & Patna Sahib or wants all Historical Gurudwaras including those in Pakistan, in his own country
