Khaliya Top is a beautiful beginners trek in Munsiyari Uttarakhand. Its a short 8 km trek to the zero point and one can stay at a Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam(KMVN) Khaliya uphill after 5 kms to have a bird eye view of all five ranges Panchachuli, Nandadevi, Hardeol, Nandakot, Rajrambha.
Khaliya Top is a budget trek in Uttarakhand and can be easily accessible, Delhi to Munsiyari you can travel via bus or train till Haldwani and then one can even hire a taxi. yeah bad weather can turn this thing for worse. for us luckily that was a sunny day even in December and a day before it snowed.

Bithi fall KMVN is 900 and Khaliya Top one is 1200 rs

Thank you very much. We are senior citizen couple and traveling like you with local car. Last September we were going to gurez valley, gulmarg , sinthan top with this sayari gari (Share car). Now planning to cover kumaun. My question is can we get share car there . And which month you cover this area. Is mid October is good for there.

Hello Sir, great that you people are travelling soo much and exploring such amazing destinations. Now coming back to your question yes its pretty much possible to get a cab, there is only public transport to visit the Kumaon side of Uttarakhand and then you can hire a full time cab also. Book from Delhi itself or can book after coming to Haldwani too. Share your itinerary what all places you want to see and all your days too. And October is a beautiful time to visit these places

we went in december last week during christmas, this year snowfall is bad in most of the notrthern reason so you can visit now at Jan end rather for a good snowfall
