I love Khan and seriously rely on these videos for all of my Bio classes including Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2. I gave the video a thumbs up (of course) but I noticed for these last couple of videos on Meiosis or Mitosis, the narrator is speeding through everything and making errors in the process. I'm using the video as a reinforcement tool, but I find myself correcting centrosome and centromere the entire time. Slowwww downnnn!

This was a well done explanation of the phases of meiosis, but the speaker sounds a bit confused and doing so you confused me on some of the parts as well such the explanation of the "Interphase" the speaker drew the chromosome in the shape it would potentially be in the "Prophase1".The speaker should have explaining as it is.

Understanding the differences is crucial for the MCAT. Ex: In Mitosis, each chromosome is lined up on the metaphase plate by 2 spindle fibers (one from each pole). In Meiosis, homologous chromosomes are lined up across from each other at the metaphase plate for Metaphase 1 and are held by 1 spindle fiber. I wanted to say this because I don't think this video mentions that huge detail :)
