It's neither difficult nor complicated ,we as humans have only made these theories and formulae... People just tend to memorize this stuff and not understand it, which leads to all the things going haywire in their brains....!

Most probably because in textbooks, things are not as visual as videos, and when the textbooks add things like arrows, circles etc. everything gets mixed up then its hard for the reader to understand anything because of all the mess.

Luckily Netflix hadn't been invented yet in Faraday's day or we may have never created inductive electricity, because you would have lost virtually everyone when they got to the point in the experiment around the 3 minute mark in this video! This was enlightening and enjoyed the humor.
