Physics on Khan Academy: Physics is the study of the basic principles that govern the physical world around us. We'll start by looking at motion itself. Then, we'll learn about forces, momentum, energy, and other concepts in lots of different physical situations. To get the most out of physics, you'll need a solid understanding of algebra and a basic understanding of trigonometry.
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.
For free. For everyone. Forever. #YouCanLearnAnything

Oh my gosh, i dont know why it was so hard for me to understand this concept when my teacher taught it, probably because i was half asleep, but you've made it so easy to understand through this video. Thank you so much, i loved the way you explained it!

1. Lecturers do not specialize or learn how to teach (usually). 2. The lecture is often ill prepared because lecturers spend most of their time on advanced research and not on how to create a good lesson. 3. Being at their level, lectures often forget the steps that they took to get to their understanding so will rush over or skip things that they think are obvious or take for granted. 4. Some don't know the topic well enough 5. Some are arrogant and think they look smarter by not going into details (usually a sign of no understanding) As Richard Feynman rightly believed... If you can’t explain something in simple terms, you don’t understand it.

Super awesome! Helped me grasp the constructive and destructive concepts a lot more! I also thought it might be nice to note, that the velocity of each harmonic is the same, because λ_n=2L/n ,f_n=nV/2L,and V=λf, so V_n=2L/n* nV/2L=λ_n f_n. I know you didn't talk about velocity so it probably wasn't relevant, I just thought that it was super interesting and cool!

You explained something my modules can't. It literally asks me to hum at the frequency of an electric fan and write my observations. How am I supposed to write my observations when It didn't explain what concept of physics should I base my observations on? I don't want my answer to sound ridiculous and irrelevant to standing waves and so I searched this. Glad it helped a lot.
