I love how the old Treblemakers’ song choices were always sort of really cheesy sex-related songs, but after Bumper resigns, the new group’s song choices become more innocent, cute, and fun. Not that there’s anything wrong with sex-related music, but there is so much more personality in this performance than in the first one we were shown, in my opinion.

Donald is literally the most important treblemaker since he does the Beatbox and rap.

I feel like this was a really dynamic performance. The way it used silence to bring you in on the solo and then shifted into rap.

I REALLY loved Jesse's character. He was so pure. Like, after watching this movie, this is the kind of guy I want to be with. Sweet, caring and understanding. He never had a "douchey" demeanor once. He really is so wholesome.

Ben Platt's entrance was magnificent. Awkward-looking, clumsy, looking terrified with stage fright - great acting, and very believable.

The main thing I love about this performance, is that it was His first time leading the Treblemakers and he gave EVERYONE a chance to shine. That's why by the end of the movie I really would have been happy if either they or the Bellas won, because they both deserved it.

Like even at that moment, there's still a hint of 'holy shit is this happening to me?' and then how he almost goes to say something in the mic at the end cause he's just not sure how to process being up there, and then he and jesse hug and omg. i just love all those little moments going on stage while the announcers are delivering their bits.

That moment “I’ve got the magic in me” ~ realizing his dream has come true. That was brilliant script writing and beyond phenomenal acting. Brings me to tears everytime

And to think Benji would be recapturing my heart a few years later as he starred in dear Evan Hansen.
