The reality: I was posted in Kashmir and loved her and her people. Want to see Kashmiriyat flourish. Also studied the history of Kashmir in detail. Who are the Kashmiris? The genuine Kashmiris are Aryan Central Asians and many have now converted to Semitic-Islam from different castes of Kashmiri Hindus. Example, Wani (Wania-businessman), Tantrey (Tantrin-soldier), Magrey (Magasa that is a warrior), Bhatt, Pandit, Dar, Sheikh, Rania, Rishi, Malik, etc. (Brahmans that is Pandits) and so on. Thus, the Pandits of Kashmir and the Muslims of Kashmir are exactly the same people except for religion. Never mix Race with Religion. Kashmir is like Iran where majority population accepts Semitic-Islam (except the Zoroastrians), however, call an Iranian a Semite (Yehudi-Arab, that is children of Abraham) by race and note the aggressive reaction. Kashmiris are all Aryans by Race and many of whom follow Semitic-Islam a good religion like any. This shrine is an ancient Aryan one thus revered. Kashmir is the home of Lord Rudra and Lord Indira both Aryan gods and the extraordinary work of Kalhana Brahman the Rajataringini makes this evident. The Sikhs are also loved in Kashmir though they are non-Kashmiris and arrived from the Punjab and Jammu quite recently. The Kashmiris are like us Jat-Sikhs and rarely marry outside unless there are some family problems or the individual is pseudo-westernized. India is the most diverse country on planet earth. Also the diversity is there to stay not only in Kashmir but on our planet. As to the origin of this pilgrimage it is preferable to obtain data from genuine scholars. Never ignore the Aryans were nature worshippers. The Kashmiri Muslims and Kashmiri Pandits have too much in common thus no one can separate them. For example both the Muslim and Christian Arabs are precisely the same people except for religion. Though the Arabs are Semites Kashmiris Aryans by Race. This shrine welcomes all religions and people from all over India.

Most of the well settled pandits outside and inside of our country exploited the pathetic situation of our valley portraying it as ethnic cleansing where we kashmiri Muslims also got brutally murdered and rapped in thousands by both sides. No place for polarization of such a pathetic condition of we innocent kashmiris at the hands of such communal well settled few pandits not interested to come back and every respect with love for all other lakhs of pandits to come back and settle in their homeland. Love from Muslim brethern for all our pandits.
