This tribute is the sixth in a series of nine where I'll try to give a good example of one of the alignments in D&D. I'm obviously not trying to define the given alignment, just to capture one of its many possible aspects - the human character is too colourful and shifting to be narrowed down easily.
To those who are either unfamiliar with the D&D alignment system, or simply wish to read more about them, here is a link I found very helpful in gaining insight to each of the nine: easydamus.com/alignment.html

A Chaotic Evil character is a very simple soul. There are things he likes and then there is... nothing else, really. A Chaotic Evil character is probably the most self-centered/egotistic of all the alignments. He is incapable of caring about anything or anyone but himself by his very nature.
A common criticism this alignment gets is that it should be renamed to "Retarded Evil", because it all too often boils down to derpstruction and lolevil behaviour. Fortunately, this is only true if the character involved has a single-digit Wisdom and/or Intelligence score, or if your DM's imagination resembles an unplugged TV.
Another good news is that since "The Dark Knight" all you have to do is watch it and focus on Joker, he is a classic example of a Chaotic Evil character with a decent Intelligence and Wisdom score (in my book at least).
For this video I deliberately picked pictures from as many worlds/settings as I could with my given collection, which I believe is completely explained by the opening sentence: "THE LUST FOR BLOOD IS NEVER SATIATED".
Oh and by the way, this is a quotation from DoW1, its one of the many awesome lines of the Chaos Sorcerer.
