@@koyelpal7761 I don’t see why good things from our tradition should be discarded as “past.” As it is, nowadays, in a Bangla show the hosts are so inept in their vocabulary and language skills, that they have to resort to speaking phrases in every other sentence! I have been living abroad for almost 40 years and have not seen any other culture deteriorate as rapidly as Bangla did! Not everything can and should be ascribed as the effect of “the present day” and “the future!” Our tradition has a lot of customs that are rich in spirit and philosophy. It is funny that they are being imbibed all over the globe, except in our own home! Prodeep er nichei ondhokaar ekei boley! And intelligent and well read people like you don’t protest this!
