मुहम्मद रफ़ी ,मन्ना डे, किशोर कुमार सभी एक से बढ़ कर एक बेजोड़ गायक थे ; लेकिन मुकेश ने इनके बीच अपनी अलग ही जगह बनायी थी । वे दिल से गाते थे... लगता था कि अपना सारा कलेजा निचोड़ कर गीत में पेश कर रहे हैं । उनकी स्मृति को नमन !

किशोर दा बहुत ही मूडी थे ,यह एक बार नहीं कई बार हुआ और वे सब गाने सुपर हिट हुए ,जेसे चल री सजनी, कसमे वादे प्यार वफा और तो और वादा तेरा वादा भी वे नहीं गाना चाहते थे पर राजेश खन्ना जी की जिद की वजह से उन्हे यह गाना, गाना पङा फिर वह गीत भी सुपर हिट हुआ ।

ये गाना किशोर दा ने reject नही किया था बल्की दो,तीन बार रेकॉर्डिंग के लिये बुलाये जाने पर भी किशोर कुमार नहीं गये तो आखिर कार बर्मन दादा ने मुकेश जी से ये गीत गवाने का फैसला किया क्योंकी ये गीत दर्दभरा था किशोर कुमार के इस गीत के रेकॉर्डिंग पर ना आने से बर्मन दादा उन् से काफि नाराज हूवे इस लिये उन्होंने अगले चार पाच साल तक किशोर कुमार से देव आनंद के लिये गाने नहीं गवाये थे फिल्म गाईड से फिर किशोर कुमार की नवकेतन कॅम्प मे वापसी हुई १९६०से १९६५तक देव आनंद की जितनी फिल्मों मे बर्मन दादा ने संगीत दिया उनमे एक भी गाना किशोर कुमार ने नहीं गाया था उस दौरान देव आनंद के लिये सबसे ज्यादा गाने रफी जी ने गाये n थे बाकी हेमंत कुमार , मन्ना डे से बर्मन दादा ने गवांये थे

Legend singer Mukesh ji is one of my favourite singers. I always watch your all episodes. Here I want to clarify that the main artistes in 1976 movie Barood were Rishi Kapoor, Reena Roy & Shoma Anand and not Hema Malini as mentioned in the episod. Dharmendra ji and Hema ji were in guest role.

As many songs Mukesh sang for S D Burman, all songs are hit and most popular. Of course Burman chose Mukesh for very selective, which other singers would not have justified as Mukesh. Mukesh is the best singer. No singer can match him. Many Rafis, kishores came. Not a single Mukesh.
