Booked luxury plus petrol 7DCT. Heard like hill climbing issue, a/c water stagnant on the roof, any other issues which you've come across. Is it worth to spend around 22lakhs?

Hmm today I had test drive of both XL6 n CARENS, I think NO comparison in Ride quality of Carens with SL6. It's very smooth n premium look with CARENS. If you need just 6 Seater, not particular on build Quality, can go for XL6.

Turbo manual AT should deliver about 10-11 in flowing traffic. Peak rush hour will be less. Highway 90-100 will be 15-16

@@TheForeheadOfDoom666 so far so good no issues, it’s been 27k kms now. One thing though occasionally I feel small jerks in traffic conditions but other than that it’s good. I’m happy with the service as well.

Drive a DCT with some best practices and you can rely on it for long duration. 1. Shift to Neutral while idling in traffic for more than 10 seconds, you will avoid any overheating issues. Don’t keep it in D mode and half brake to crawl for long durations else it will cause unnecessary heating of your transmission. 2. Keep your foot on the brakes while holding on steep climbs instead of using accelerator for balancing. This will avoid clutch slip and increase life of DCT gearbox.

The pricing is a scam by Kia Motors. No point in trying to do the comparison by including them in the mix. The base variant is not available. They will tell you that it is available after 1 year only. This is true at Bangalore and Chennai. I am sure the situation is same all over India. They need to be reported to the consumer courts for action. There is no car available for delivery with the introductory price of 8.99 lakhs. It is misleading the customer and generates a lot of free press, and primarily designed to attract walk-ins. They just force you to go for the higher priced models. Will the consumer courts prevent them from printing ads which are not true?? It is just a pricing tactic designed to cheat the customer. Does the base model even exist. It is probably only on paper.....
