Did car have built in amplifier as mine dose and i carnt get any sound everything else works bar the sound

Hey mate did you ever get it working? I have a 2011 sportsge and it has amplifier. Just trying to see what to buy to install a CarPlay capable unit in my car

@@Drenwickification no mate gave up trying in the end bought three difrent leads that were ment to work but still no luck

@@wayneevans4793 ah damn… hope I can get something. My in built unit is terrible, the sat nav is unusable and for some reason even though it has Bluetooth it’s just for calls and I can’t play music. And it freezes all the time 😂 but yeah it seems the issue is getting the wiring harness to connect it up, or wire it yourself but I don’t know enough to do that

It is highly recommended to have a specialist fit car stereos these days as it is very complicated and you can do more damage than good
