If you own a Kia or Hyundai and have been dealing with taillight issues, this video may provide you with some good information. In this video, I demonstrate how I corrected a common issue involving the wiring on the taillight of a Kia Optima.

dude thank you for this. tried the fuse, the light replacement, and was gonna have to try the brake light switch then found this. saved me a bunch of time money and stress. thanks!!

Hey I am looking for the same fix, when I tried to use the ebay link for the harness, it is not sold on ebay anymore. Can you share the name/model no of the part?

The pig tails in Kias suck because the seals for the trunk are shit. Moisture gets trapped and dry rots the pigtail wires. I pulled the drain plug on the bottom of trunk to allow air to flow through and it helps.
