I think it was very brave decision to pick the Telluride as an overland Vehicle. But it did the job. 👏🏽 👏🏽

We're in Scotland and have 09 Kia Sorrento that we have had from new and we love it. We go surfing in lots of out of the way places and it has never let us down. We also tow a caravan and most of the time you forget its on the back of the car. Love our Kia 👌

The battle scars on the Kia just show everyone that you are using it and testing its limits, most off-roaders will appreciate that more than a show pony vehicle that never goes off-road. Love the videos, keep up the good work!

Really like the vibe on this video. Wheeler "why is he not in the tailer with us"? Daisy "I don't know, he is out talking to that box again" wheeler "well I hope he makes us some sausages, raw chicken can only go so far". That OregonMike guy had maple flavor sausages." Daisy "yeah those we the best"

So cool man. I own a 5th generation 4runner that's kind of made to do the stuff you're doing. It's great to see you pushing that Kia to its limits way beyond what 99.9% of people who buy it actually will! Most will never even see a dirt road

That is true but he should try to tell us the cost of repairs after that trip. Since the Kia took a lot of beating. So, let us know how much a dealership charges to fix those things.

@@myytchannel6632 My Jeep JL Rubicon was on this trip. I damaged my right rear fender flare, rear bumper and rock rash on 4 of my wheels. I guess if I was to take the Jeep to the dealer for repairs it would be $4500 or more. that being said the Kia ended up with much less damage than my Jeep. Any vehicle used like my jeep or the Kia were used on this trip would have received damage. Let me know if you have any questions. Steve

Watching your videos is very relaxing for those of us trapped in the city. You were the first channel I watched for overland/outdoor camping and they've inspired the wife and I to get a trailer and get outdoors. We've been researching for almost 1 yr and learning quite a bit. We plan to order our trailer this winter, we just purchased a new truck for pulling it this week and we've got our list of gear to buy this coming fall. Keep those great videos coming!!

Another great video sir. As always beautiful scenery, great composition, my 2 favourite canine video stars lol, etc. Definitely wanting to see the walk around video of the trailer. I completely understand and agree with you about using a truck instead of an SUV. I drove the same SUV for 21 years and it was great for raising a family. Plenty of room for 9 people and still have room for cargo as well as the 230 Ib dog lol. The last few years I’ve mainly been using my truck for outdoors adventures and absolutely love it. It’s a true crew cab so I have room for 6 people if need be but it’s the cargo bed that I really appreciate. Carries my chainsaw without mucking up the interior and room for logs/rounds/firewood as well. I have to apologize though, I usually pray for you and the pups every week but I didn’t this week and BAM! You’re drinking coors instead of Pendleton! Lol I am sooo sorry lol. It won’t happen again lol I still want to meet you in person and maybe show you a few of my favourite spots. Cheers mate and happy trails

This is awesome! the amount of work you put into your videos is awesome! the different camera angles and different shots of you coming and going to camp. I think as a viewer of a video we forget the amount of work that goes into a video, you have to set up the camera press record walk away and make it look like your going to "camp" then you stop go back and pick up the camera gear and then walk to camp with the camera, set it up and then record and then walk into "camp" then stop change angle record. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars for sure! Got your self a new SUB! Thanks for the great video and upload!

Lost your channel for a while when I had to reset my computer. I have an 2016 XTR off road teardrop trailer (Vintage Trailer Works). I have had it for one year and has totally changed my camping experiences. No more tent camping. My dog, Toast loves to sleep in our teardrop too. It is not wired for electric yet nor solar. Like your road shower and been thinking of adding this too.Good for washing dishes too. Keep up the beautiful photography. Need to visit Oregon too. From AZ.

We just returned to one of our favorite remote sites only to find it trashed including a huge piece of carpet we couldn't haul out. You never know whether your Patreon supporters might share the location with others. I think giving clues like you do is sufficient and people can use Google Maps satellite or do their own research (makes them work for it so it doesn't become a weekend party destination)

Just came across your video channel. I love the idea of living out in nature. It must be nice to be able to do that full-time. As for cooking the sweet peppers, another option is cut out only the center and cook them whole over a fire until they are soft. They taste great with that wood-fired, grilled taste. Poblano peppers are great tasting peppers too if you are looking for something not so hot.

Trailer looks better in action than the pictures you showed me at expo. It was great meeting you and talking to you.

I am sort of new to your channel and I love your videos... the photography, the things you cook, and your dogs ...watching one of those puppies while you were holding the plate of food it looked like he was sayin "come on dude, stop talking and feed me"... too cute and funny!!!

Thank you for the reply I feel honored I have to confess that I am in the process of researching to start my off grid living next year... Wont be as fancy as what you were doing, I am looking to buy a Subaru Forester or a Nissan NV-200... You are my inspiration so far... I hope to keep learning more from your travels... Also trying to learn everything I can About drones... Any suggestions for me?

That is awesome that you are starting your research. As far as being as "fancy" as I am...I think you will find that I am 100% the opposite. I was actually talking about this today a bit. Get out and give things a try before going off grid. You will learn with each trip what works and what drives you insane...and then adapt and modify your set up. I am constantly switching things around. When I am not in the Telluride (which is a partnership with Ron Tonkin Kia) I am in my 1999 Ford F250. I just recently got the Drifter Trailer after years in the CVT Tent set up. It is the perfect example of a time when I realized something was no longer working as well as I needed it to (since I am now 100% full time overlanding) and I modified my set up to meet my needs. I hope my videos can provide some encouragement. Everyone will be different in their needs and should remember that one particular set up only works for that particular individual. That really is half the fun...figuring out what works for you. As far as the drone goes, I use the DJI Mavic Pro 2. I wish you luck in your research!

🤭 It looks fancy to me because I haven't started traveling yet I guess... but yes, I will try it a few times with short trips and see... first I have to travel to South America for about 6 months... I was looking into that drone you use... I've never used one before but I want to start my channel here showing off the country where I was born ... celebrating 50 years in August of arriving in the USA... hopefully it won't be too complicated and I can get good footage! Hope to stay in touch so maybe you can give me more advice add I go along... and maybe even meet up next year sometime! Thanks again... btw... I'm Sylvana... nice to meet you... say hello to Wheeler and the other puppy... don't know the name... 🤫

Sit back and relax Jason! You’ve been pretty busy. The Kia turned out to be pretty cool and I can’t wait for the in-depth walk around on the Drifter trailer...that will be awesome! Bummed I missed you at the Expo. Must have walked right by you like 2 times. I’m such a dumb ass, but there was soooo much to see.

I can see where those aftermarket guys need to make a couple rubber bumpers and a metal back bumper cover. As always great video.

And here I am searching for a 3 row suv that is moderately capable off-road to replace my diesel excursion. Kia is only a few small changes away from getting me to change over. That telluride is a great looking rig. I just need a low range option, Ability to lock diffs(or have crawl control)and chance to put 33” tires on there and I’m sold.

I travel with my dog Charlie, a Black Lab, and the good thing about that is dogs don't care what you are driving. They just want to be with you. LOL.
