@@ishab.6798 pretty sure we are only seeing things one sided with the whole Ghost personality split thing still being an option as when Wilbur died we all know he split into Ghostbur and Revivebur(Wilbur when revived) and many people believe the Enderwalk side to Ranboo is his side that went to Limbo and if the guys who stayed in Limbo get crossed over to Season 2 that means we could have an Evil Ranboo this time around though we won't know unless Ghostboo died by whoever in Season 2 gets their hands on the Revival Book

Not just people in the nether or end, Boomer and Sam weren't caught in it since Boomer spent years running from the egg before finding and freeing Sam's original body. Wilbur's also probably fine, it's not clear what Minecraft dimension Utah counts as but it seems unlikely that he would have been affected there regardless of it counts as the overworld, nether, end, or something else entirely. And I don't think it was as simple as just going to the nether, since otherwise Ghostboo would not have needed divine intervention to save Michael, and Kristin would probably have taken the Syndicate there instead of to the end. So far, it's only confirmed that Dream, Tommy, Tubbo, Jack, and Punz were caught in the ICBM and the subsequent Incident, whatever the Incident actually is.

@@darceygav I doubt it, one of the reasons why Phil isn't joining season 2 is because its a full restart. The characters of season 2 will know absolutely nothing about season one and Phil was sad he couldn't do things for Techno in it. He mentioned it in his finale stream. Ran also mentioned in their update video that they're going to be stepping back from Minecraft for a while, this makes sense as they're going to be in America for a hot minute doing recordings for Generation Loss. Maybe they will show up again! But based on the given info I'm keeping my hopes low, I am curious as to who will be in the SMP given how many people are backing out from it.

I mean... the syndicate finale does kinda imply that c!Techno also passed away. However, it's vague enough that it could reasonably be interpreted as cc!Phil briefly breaking character, so without official confirmation I see no reason we can't insert our own headcanons as to c!Techno's fate. Perhaps he went on another journey and upon returning to the main SMP was forced to flee from the Egg, similar to c!Boomer?

I'm thinking he might have meant the DreamXD thing that still has yet to happen.

@@Icelion_r Yeah, I initially thought he meant season two starting, but at this point I can't see it referring to that unless the DreamXD thing encompasses both the true ending of season one and the beginning of season two.

It’s probably because of Techno’s death and inactivity on the server / lore in general.

It kind of feels like everyone just gave up. Truth be told, Ranboo's character was kind of cut short and ignored right after he became Ghostbo.

@@MsCassidy23 I agree. I feel like after Dream was put in prison, or even after Wilbur left, the whole DSMP has gone down in quality.

@@citrusblock It seems Wilbur had a lot of writing planned out for the characters everyone ignored (or didn't know about) when he took his break. He even said Ranboo dying permanently wasn't on the books until much later, after the burger van.

@@citrusblock I've often wondered if he had a falling out with Tubbo and the others. The two seemed pretty short with one another (it can happen when friends move in together) near the end, and there was a huge rush to introduce more new people on the server. Poor Aimsey tried so hard but it was clear that she was over her head with the hard core fans.
