I am absolutely not religious, but I loved your story. It is nice to hear such devotion between two young people. I am a 77 year old widower who met his German wife in July, married her on the following Christmas Eve in the military Chapel. Our marriage lasted 49 years, til "death did us part". Sometimes you just know in a very short time that there is something special about a person.

No matter what, every moment together is sacred, because every moment draws you closer to Christ, to each other, and to what the Lord has in store for your relationship. This is the impression on my heart as I watch this video. It has truly healed and educated me about my own relationship, and all the little blessings that brought us together. We are the couple moving at a crawling pace, but this video assures me that God's timing, is everything.

The one thing that really hit me is how Kyle looks at those invasive fearful thoughts that could often stop you from what God has destined for you. LIES! I have thoughts like that all the time, and they block me from hearing God because He is forever speaking to me. And it's not just random thoughts because thoughts that bring nasty fear are often times not from God. Because God would clearly speak to you. So thank you Kyle for giving us insight into those little thoughts. And as I'm watching this video I just keep hearing God say, "You found your answer". Y'all are AMAZING! Pausing in the middle of watching this to say: I met someone at church a couple years ago now who comes to the same community group as me, and if I’m super honest I FELLLL HARDDD for him, but not in the way I’ve noticed that I’ve crushed on guys in the past. It was because he literally checked everything off on “my list,” too. And while I was really dwelling for a while on what I thought I wanted to come out of that friendship (i.e. I was extremely convinced I would date this boy), I’ve come to realize, like you Kian, that I’m just super grateful to be able to call him a friend and see a man of his caliber and character who cares so deeply about loving the Lord and His Word. His faith truly encourages me and makes me want to seek Christ more for myself. He’s a great example of seeking out accountability and discipleship within the church and of being a disciple. And I think that’s worth noting! Even if I don’t date him, there’s so much value even in those friendships. Y’all’s story is so sweet and it’s so encouraging for me to hear!! I met my husband on a cruise too! It was in the Bahamas and we actually met on a shuttle boat to the island first. Then Our first date was on the ship and afterward we sat on the pool deck and saw a meteor shower ❤️ it was the most romantic night ever ❤️❤️❤️
