And then in this season when she stole his boat, in the ep with jj going to get his old job back the owner of the boat place tells him rafe said that "he"(jj) stole the boat and not to let him near here. Like these little things in the show and the script can't be a coincidence. lol why would rafe specifically blame jj for the boat when it was actually kiara that stole it.

@@nina533 I think Kie is the key to his path towards redemption (this sounds all spiritual) but I’m being fr. He was so soft with her and genuinely wanted to protect her and ensure they got out together. I understand Kie had to save her friends and that’s why she pushed Rafe off the boat (typical enemies to lovers - it’s worse before it gets better) I’m actually crazy but I see the potential between these two and I hope the writers do too. It’s way better than a friends to lovers miscommunication trope with zero chemistry imo. And that’s not to say I don’t want JJ to be happy but I do not think Kie is his person. I hope he finds someone he’s compatible with

The actors have natural chemistry that is much more interesting to watch than the obvious fanservice of Jiara where they even seemed uncomfortable acting together. Something weird in the directing if people have seen a "vibe" like a past btw Kiara and Rafe since s1. As for just evil Rafe, that's boring, we saw that in s2. I'm not saying he should become a good guy but it would be fascinating if he could bury the hatchet with Sarah maybe Kie help this happen, or her convincing him to take responsibility for his actions. We need to mix up the cast dynamics instead of introducing unnecessary new characters all the time. As for the couples, that's probably what I care about the least on this show and it's become way too much of a focus.

Shipping them is probably not the best idea but all the things he has done is because of his mental unstableness...due to his father. He said several times that he didn't feel alright and everyone brushes it off like it's nothing until they see the consequences and he's called out as the bad guy. Don't get me wrong, everything he did is bad, but I feel it could have been avoided had everyone around him actually listened to his pleas for help. (PS: Rose was prob the only one who actually came close to helping him out because she was ready to face the fact that there was something wrong with him and he needed help...except instead of getting him that help, she wanted to turn him in and take everything...lmao the people in this series)

I think a Rafe redemption is entirely possible. All the things he has done has been a direct result of his father's neglect, mental, emotional and physical abuse to him. He has said several times to multiple people especially his dad that he doesn't feel alright and has never been listened by anyone. He does know that everything he has done is wrong, he says that he feels all his decisions are bad and that he knows everything he has done is bad but he gets lost when he does it. He actually is very easily influenced (by Barry, by Sofia, by his Dad) and if he had the right person talking with him probably at this point professionally, he would be able to turn things around. He's just been lost alone for too long in his own head and everyone brushes it off like it's nothing until they see the consequences and it's too late.

It would be so out of character for Kiara to trust himn and fell for him, he's done some bad things. Is a “rafe redemption” even possible? i think he is hot, but he is tzhe Villain.
