The reason these appeal to me is that they're easily transportable and smaller than regular roller skates. I figure skate but probably will never learn to do any tricks on roller skating (too scared of falling lol). But I'd love to get a pair of roller skates so I can get around campus quicker. They seem small enough to pack into a suitcase and travel around with. I wonder if they'd be good enough for that?

These seem actually pretty good! I ordered a pair I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I don't want a super amazing pair of skates because I'm just going to use them to get to school in a fun way. It's just easier than bringing my actual skates to school lol.

I had these when I was 10 before heelys even existed and no one cared, then heelys blew up like 4 years later, now these are back lmao. Rad full circle right there. I can't remember what they were called, though! Lol

The reason I want them is because I’m always late, so it’s more useful for getting somewhere slightly faster. I don’t think they’re made to replace actual roller skates 😂

Good thing to remember the moving parts have to be oiled or they will get stuck from dry friction. Over time the oil will disappear comes from factory oiled. The shoes need to be maintained

Yeah.. when i first saw it on tiktok it just looked extremely cheaply made. It reminds me of those plastic shoes with bad ass quality and knock off. 😅

I had something like this when I was around 8 years old. It was super fun to roam around the mall/nearby streets with these. It was super easy!

If I'd be able to redesign this, i'd put the front wheels more up front. Even though i don't have them, i always feel like I would fall face first on the ground since the space between the front wheels and your toes is quite big 😅

I love seeing how popular skating has become in the past 2+ years, I hope this "trend" doesn't die out any time soon and it becomes just as "normal" as skateboarding and BMX now is. Remember when skateboarding wasn't as mundane and reserved for the rebels, but now Tony Alva is 60 and Tony hawk 50 and everyone has at least made an attempt to stand on a board. I cant wait for the leading Gals (because they are killing the game) and Gents to be 60 and everyone has "at least made an attempt...". *cheers to all skaters and future skaters. I'm an Inline figure skater who's able to do some tricks and easily skate and jump on skates without falling. I'll buy those shoes soon and I'm really excited! I think it's really nice that I won't have to take my skates everywhere. It's perfect for people who have experience, so they can just skate whenever they want.

And I thought, till this video, that they would be a safer option to standard roller skates. But I see now that my assumption was wrong! This video saved me over $100 and additional disappointment. I have a awesome pair of Flaneurz, and I LOVE them! They are not cheap to purchase but very high quality and like Indy said the innovation is all there.

As I figure skater I found them really fun to use as I was use to being on a blade my ankles had more control so I would not roll as much, you get use to them and find your own way to make them better for you, I love them though especially when I need to walk to school.

Hello! For future reference so you know with shoes from another country... Size EU 37 is US size 6 and UK size 4, they are 23 cm... I have EU 37 and this is what is says inside my shoes made by known brands. The size on the Chinese shoes is messed up haha, I got so confused! The best way to know your size when buying shoes from China is to follow their size guide and measure your feet, and also to read reviews to see what others have said about the sizing since it is technically not accurate

Many years ago there was an Italian made sandal clog that had pop-out wheels just like these. They even made an appearance in an episode of a TV cop drama where shoplifters would nab something, pop out the wheels and then skate away through a crowd. I'd much rather have a pair of Nash Cruisers to-Go skates with their detachable trucks. But, those are a bit scarce these days.

I'm buying either these or the Impala inline skates... Ahhh Edit 4 days later: i ended up getting these on Amazon. Mine came with a little metal handle that allowed me to loosen the wheels. After that, i had better control when skating. I needed help the first time but once i loosened the wheels, i was able to skate on my own without holding someone's hand lol. These are a lot better for practicing than actual quad skates, but I'm saying this as an ex-blader. 😝 The only thing that worries me is that there's no stop guard attachment. How to open/close: the first time you have to push EXTREMELY hard on the button. After there first time, it's a lot easier. My boyfriend had to help me lol make sure the arrow is pointing up to open/close the wheels and move the arrow a different direction to lock them for safety. 👍👍👍

Indie is my hero I am a 54 yearr old woman and. I am impressed she is representing a lifestyle that I began in in 1973. My first skates were Roller Derby street King Shoe Skates the fireball edition. They had plastic wheels I believe. I took them to a ring and they refused my skates telling me my wheels would scratch the floor. I thought skates were skates but the more Im watching Indies videos she is so passionate for a recreation that I love. I ordered my impala skates and should be getting them june 3rd 2021. The vast knowledge I have learned from this young lady makes me feel more educated and more empowered I dont know the hardships shes had to endure I hate drama however to judge and persecute a person for the rest of their life because of a mistake that they have made is simply unGodly, cruel uncompassionate and just downright ignorant. Whatever a person has done if that person has asked for forgiveness and truly has shown remorse and has put all pride and ego aside then that person should be forgiven. Anyone willing to crucify this young lady every single day of her life and every single post you make lets me see the mental pain and misery and lack of compassion that person beholds. I see this young lady and all the content and education and love and passion she has given to the sport and I see this is not a young lady that needs to just go away. This is a young lady that needs to stand proud in the face of discrimination. By the way isnt that the exact reason you originally tried to break her spirit and her dreams. I tasted discrimination at the age of 9 when a skate ring would not let me in because I didnt have the right skates and had to go right back home because I had no money to rent them. When you are excluded it makes you feel unworthy, alone and sad. Whatever has transpired with this young lady just know its not easy to stand in the face of an angry crowd throwing stones casting judgment. But our own Lord and savior did it knowing that He could not let them break Him and win. No matter the sin or mistake EVERYONE deserves forgiveness. I hope this special young lady picks herself up rebrands herself and gets a better kind loving team. Not one that will cast her to the wolves all alone when she has made a mistake or things get dark and unpredictable. Bless you Indie dear you are this 54 year old woman's hero.You have inspired and given courage to this old gal to get out there and skate again. Anyone willing to simply throw a person away simply does not deserve you my dear. Keep up the AWESOME movement.. And know YOUR tribe and people are with you dear heart. You have inspired me to create a 50 and older skate group called our time. I hope to bring together my generation to reminisce and get back out there and do what we all did and loved as kids. To celebrate the generation that inspires you kids today to dress in your bell bottoms and butterfly collar shirts spandex pants like Donna Summer and Sister Sledge. I am Ojibwe Native American and at 9 I knew that black disco culture was where my heart was. At 9 I knew no color boundaries. I want my younger generation to know that when cultures collide it can be such a beautiful life transforming experience however never crucify someone for making a mistake instead educate them and do it with kindness and love teach that person what they said or did was wrong and show them the right way with compassion not cruelty and ignorance because my father used to always say An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Lets all work on loving each other while learning about their culture. Lets create a universe that is color blind. #LaterSkaters. ❤

This was very help. I've been debating for months if I should get them. A lot of other videos weren't helpful at all.

My only big issue with these is they don't really have ankle support, I would prefer normal skates but cool for quick changes.

These seem perfect for those empty malls or Walmart, which I'm all about.

Just got a pair off of FB marketplace for $20. Haven't skated seriously since I was a kid a long time ago. A long long time ago. Been thinking about it lately and figured it would be a good way to get the feel of wheels again. My philosophy is to start with crappy stuff and by the time I get used to it, getting the real deal would feel like butter. Or I break my middle aged tail bone. And, all that long long time ago, there were shoe skates built into platform clog sandals! Tiny plastic wheels flipped out.

For the same price as my rainbow riders, it’s a no from me. They are super cool but I would prefer a more high quality skate for that money 🤷‍♀️. Thanks for the review !
