This is easily the closest I’ve heard to the original intro!! So hard to get that whammy bar just right! Badass man!! 🔥🔥
@Prof_Unknown Жыл бұрын
He's playing over the actual song, that's why the tone is so spot on, and that's also why he never misses a note.
@rickeymathis7672 Жыл бұрын
He's playing it but with a loop pedal cause when he goes to lead the rhythm is still playing...From my eye he played it note to note...Great Cover
@Prof_Unknown Жыл бұрын
@@rickeymathis7672 Nope, lmao. He even admits that he played over the actual song, no loop pedal just bad audio mixing.
@rickeymathis7672 Жыл бұрын
@@Prof_Unknown ok I play that way to but if I hit a wrong note or lick with a electric you can hear it cause you blend the Amp with your CD player or TV with you tube...That's how I can get a closer tone for what style music iam playing...but now I've gotten 5 electrics and they all have different tunings..I just haft to tweak my Amp some but my tone is always on...Even playing along with the song you can tell when you miss something...imo he did good playing along...I grew up with Motley so I know how to play this song and as I watch him he don't miss a lick or chord...That kid wasn't even probably born when this song came out...but it's good to see kids today that listen to great music...
@Prof_Unknown Жыл бұрын
@@rickeymathis7672 Never said he didn't play it perfectly but alright lol, I was pointing out that he played over the actual song instead of a backing track.

Rock it dude! You are phenomenal! One little bit of advice, no matter where life takes you- NEVER put your guitars down, no matter what. KEEP PLAYING! The stupidest thing I ever did was put mine down. Would be a great stress relief if I could pull one of mine out and just wail. Can manage a little bit but nothing like I could do 30 years ago. Thanks foir making this old headbanger smile today. And keep rockin' 🤘🏻

Hey, did you tune down your guitar to play the song? I have a Jackson soloist (basically the same guitar) and when I tried to down tune it, I fucked up the floyd rose bridge and snapped some strings. Any tips?
@notmars1313 Жыл бұрын
Adjust the springs on the back to get the bridge level, one of the big pains of the floyd rose. That’s why I always have my Floyd’s flush mounted and not floating.
@ashleysguitarpage Жыл бұрын
Yes, I did! How did you damage your bridge? Snapping strings can be normal when changing strings, especially when learning. I've done it and I'm sure most of us have. The best advice I can give is to use thicker gauge strings when down-tuning. I used 10-51, use something to stabilise the bridge when installing new strings (so it doesn't move), stretched strings, tune and genteelly free the bridge. If the bridge doesn’t sit flush - you will need to open the back cover and adjust the spring action and tune again to get the bridge sitting perfectly! Hope this helps :) 🎸
