The stewards ars tasked with enforcing these rules. They have asked to stop filming in a friendly way several times. How many chances does one need? Next time he just needs to ask for permission to film and that's it.

The reason you aren't allowed to film using professional film gear is because a lot of companies and camera crews pay expensive fees, and sign exclusive deals. When a normal viewer ends up in the stadium with prof. gear its hard to differenciate between commercial and private use. Hence phone recording is allowed, where as this equipment caused problems! This is a Eredivisie wide a problem. Al though often stewards dont feel like they care enough to deal with it! Simple explanation, but the line is very thin between what is allowed, and what isn't! Also quick note regarding taking pictures of your ID card, that is legally not allowed! Next time don't give it to them, as you legally can deny their request.

You can't basically sit anywhere, as tickets have seat numbers. Further many visible and invisable cameras are used for detecting things. Also already popping up at 16:30, this steward.

Dutch FA house rules and FC Twentes house rules don't allow visitors to make videos that are meant to be published. You could expect this at any Dutch stadium when you sit in plain view of security guard doing a lot of filming. If you pick a less obvious spot you'll likely be allright.

Already wondered if you were a youtuber of some sort. I was sitting behind you at the match. About the stewards: they just did their job. They told you upfront you are not allowed to film and you proceed to do so. That's nothing you can blame them for doing their job after they warned you. Of course I don't agree with these rules since it's good and free advertising for the club. It's just that you cannot blame volunteers for doing what they've been told to.

This seems very strange. As someone who works security at football games. I see 0 reason why they did this, only thing I can think about it they people around you complained. But for me that would be a "hey, is it a issue to sit somewhere else?" not a get out. Even the fact that they gave you no proper reason is unheard for me. Also very strange they don't speak English? I know most of the people I work with at games (not Twente ofc) sprak Dutch, German and English. Very sorry to see and hear what happened

Feeling bad for you. I think this has to do with the media policy for all Dutch football clubs (not only FC Twente), and I think every European football club. If you are not part of the official media (TV stations, press, radio etc) and don't have a Press Card, you are not allowed to film the match. This in accordance to all the official guidelines set by the Dutch Football Association (KNVB) and the European Football Association (UEFA). They don't enforce this very much for private citizens, but if it is obvious you are doing more than just for private interests and also have kinda pro gear, then unfortunately you got the attention.Maybe go more undercover next time or get a Press Card? Anyway, thanx for the report!

My biggest question is why don't you never go with the people that helped you out to get a ticket to see a match, not all stewards at every club will know English and having someone native by your side would have helped. They often talk about there are more bikes then people in the Netherlands but I am sure there are more cameras (people phones) then people in the Netherlands! What does "theath" mean? Artikel 9.1 van de Johan Cruijff Arena: 9.1 Het is verboden beeld- en/of geluidsopnamen te maken en/of daaraan mee te werken van (enige activiteit van) het Evenement en/of van de aanwezige bezoekers voor enig ander doel dan gebruik in de privé-sfeer. Dit geldt niet voor, naar het oordeel van Stadion Amsterdam, bevoegde persfotografen, filmers of journalisten voor zover deze de grenzen van hun accreditatie niet overschrijden. Het maken van beeld- en/of geluidsopnamen ten behoeve van radio, televisie, internet of mobiele toepassingen in welke vorm dan ook is slechts toegestaan na voorafgaande schriftelijke toestemming van Stadion Amsterdam.
