@@tylerpetersen2642 guaranteed, I have hear a set of them, in person just 4 days ago. They were not that impressive for the price tag. I haven't touched a kicker subwoofer, since my late teens, when they were actual Stillwater Designs, and manufactured here is the U.S If it is something you like, cool. But there are better subwoofers on the market, for less money.

@@Chuck_Sanders Kicker OWNS their China build house and controls quality and ONLY builds Kicker... All those others just choose form a selection of baskets cones and surrounds, all built in Chinese own build houses and then slap their name on it.... Kicker has better build quality and sound quality.... The problem is these kids these days push them too hard with cheap dirty power amps to make videos of their cars rattling... CA for OD on the spider and surround. Coil to spider is epoxy. Cone to spider / coil is also epoxy.

Review said, you have the money for a single sub. Wich would you buy providing they were the same money and that's what your local shop had. Sundown sa v1, alpine type r, kicker l7, kicker comp q, savard Rap, or a skar ddx? Me I'm passing. Lol and ordering from you.

Good question but it's easy. DDX and SA are the same. So either of those.

was about to buy these because the CT Sounds MESO DVC 4ohms I currently bought dont give me the deep low resonating quality base I love. MESO hit hard for SPL but not SQ. Using the CT Sounds 3400 watt mono block. What are your recommendation for deep base quality subs. Back in the day the MTXs I had were wonderful. Just got back in the game and everyone saying something different. Help much appreciated.

The only advantage I can see going square over circle is space. You get more cone area in the same space with the square vs the circle. Will that translate to louder in 99% of customer applications? Only if you have no space at all to work with. Myself I gained in a single cab truck using the square over the circle. But honestly I cant justify the cost vs the performance.

@@kapokidkidkapo719 The Soundsplinters are worth rebuilding but I actually suggest the Gladiators or really something more hearty that I can build. Not much space. You'll need to build the enclosure into the back seat floor.

Well I just searched it for the thumbnail and they go for like $350!! Like NO bro! When I have the motors, we can do much better for the same $200 shipped. Like a triple stack SA / Vato Xtreme, AZ made and 3yr warranty. Custom color frame and cap.

2014 535i trunk placement with seats that fold. 600rms @ 4ohm from Hertz hcp1dk mono amp. Looking for a 12 subwoofer. My Alpine Type R smoked after 2 years only in a prefab box. I'm looking for durability, loudness but without sacrificing SQ. I will get a custom box made for the new subwoofer. I cant decide because everyone says mainstream is trash and made in China which I agree. Some have said Image Dynamics IDMAX is good and made in the USA but they don't sell them in Canada any where and its quite finnicky and unreliable.

@@falifeent I make several sizes. Coils can be single, dual, triple and quad. It just depends on what size wire, how big the gap is and what kind of acoustic load is connected to the coil / motor.
