@@barryb90 No he did. Erik has a much stronger voice. No doubt. But Vince had a style that he created and helped create one of the biggest bands in the 1980s. The whole reason you know of this song is because of Vince and the band's style. I don't know how old you are, but going by your name i'm going to assume you were born in 1990, so you didn't see the impact Motley Crue had on the 80s music scene. I think you're enamoured with Erik's power, perfect pitch and range and I'm right there with you. It's why i subscribed. But there's a certain energy that comes with creating a song that most cover singers can't replicate. It's a creator's vibe that can be mimicked but not replicated. That said, I love this guy. He has one of the best voices i've heard in a long time.

I saw skid row with Erik 2 summers ago in Canada at a music festival in Burlington Ontario and he absolutely killed it. Sorry to say this Erik im a huge Bach fan but halfway through the first song I was like this guy is amazing they don't need Bach back. Erik you put skid row back on the map. I hope nothing g but the best for you. You totally won me over. Keep up the great work and can't wait to see you again

I'm 54 and have a 17-year-old son who loves Crue and Skid Row but I told him those are the two bands I'd never see again... just isn't the same. I was so wrong. Wasn't paying attention. Missed the Dallas show this past yr, but just told my husband we won't miss the next one. Amazing talent!

I still get goosebumps just thinking about it. And this version of one of my favorite bands is epic! Sounds actually better then the original especially these days.
