Kickstarter Watch Review and Unboxing of a Mars Mission Watch from OVD Watches. This Ashy Mars Watch was inspired by the 300 day mars mission and produced by OVD Watches of Hong Kong. This automatic mens watch is powered by a Seiko NH70A Automatic Movement and features a double domed Sapphire crystal.

Very nice video! It’s a really cool watch design. I’ve never seen anything like it before and OVD pulls it off in a really good way. I like the grey and think the brown straps will complement the face/dial, although I think I like the grey straps more so. Either way, I’m sure you will get a lot of enjoyment with this watch. Great job on the video, both content and presentation style. Keep up the good work!

Nice video! Also received this watch last week. I love unique styles and domed glass - my favorite domed watch is still the Corum bubble. But this piece is also nice - esp for this price. Enjoy it!

Cool design, this Mars mission is way too tall for me, but they are on my radar for a future purchase. Love their designs and reasonably priced.

Hey K.G.L, OVD watches is one of those Watch companies that seems to fly under the radar, I personally have never seen them do any real advertising. They seem to focus mainly on their Kickstarter Campaigns and direct website sales. I for one am glad I stumbled across them. I agree this double domed crystal is a little too much for everyday wear. Thank you for reviewing this watch. Personally, I don't like to see that back of the movement plate by looking through the dial, where it sits the hour "hand" they could cover it, it should've make the watch look more professional. @8:38, it seems when you pull out the crown one click to regulate hour but turning does not take any effect, I think they forgot to remove/bypass the "date" adjustment position from the movement (btw, any watchmaker can do it easily), so, since there's no date window, the crown turns without noticeable effect on the hands. Very unfair for such an inspiring and good looking watch! I hope someone will correct me on this. Overall, seems pretty.

Hello champion !!! To know that I am a beginner in the world of horology and as the new year approaches, I would like to give myself a gift car. (It is the advantage of being single hahahaha) I would like a watch that was “casual-elegant” and at the same time with a water resistance of at least 300m and automatic. Budget not exceeding 1,000 euros. I have thought of the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600. I have also thought of the BOLDR ODYSSEY METAL BLUE (less known this brand). (These brands? SWC Diver BLACK 30 ATM -- MARC & SONS Diver MSD-028-1S, ARE YOU GOOD ???) Please, who contributes in this world of horology wisdom, what can you tell me? A greeting and thanks in advance. !!!

No worries at all man, everyone has their own tastes. I don't take offense at all and appreciate you watching. What I can say is that this is not a watch that will get a lot of wrist time, with the 20mm thickness it makes wearing with a suit almost impossible. Absolutely a weekend warrior at best.
