Back then a pair of them slaps would have solved the issue and would have avoided all this hassle. The mother trying to prove herself and her value to the young child is just laughable, let alone trying to take her to work... Which, btw, would not be allowed in the real world.

Being an adult might look easy but it's not. Why you think, a lot of adults wants their childhood back? They know it's rough. Even as adult's, you still got to listen no matter what. She's making it seem like adults get to have a day to roam free. No girl, everything isn't what you make it seem like. Adults have to pay bills, cook, go to work, take care of their household, and etc.

We as parent are to be blame. We work long hour and feel bad because we do not spent enough time with our children so we give them everything we can, tolerate everything (guilt) and they grow up believing “I can do whatever I want). And one day they grow up and if things do not go their way well….. there is the alcohol and drugs. Wonderful. We that give them everything are to be blame we are the ones that have it harder bec. The family is important.

Then dont get kids 🙄 Why do you get kids when you cant give them enough time? Just to make them a spoiled brat or make them suffer through loneliness If you cant grow kids then dont get one There are children who help their parents since youngest age Because you should encourage them since start Not force them or anything I would honestly blame myself if my kids didnt learn manners at least I wouldn't force her to do my job Not everyone is suitable for nursing Honestly this movie has so much flaws Also parents are responsible because nobody forced you to be a parent If you failed to teach them manners, yes you are responsible

@@afrozaferdousi9174 because der like the mum said doctors and nurses etc have to work really long hours especially seen as the healthcare system is in a really bad way with not having many staff so therefore they have to make up for it by spending way more hours at work so what does that mean well it means that even if you wanted to you quite simply cant spend time with your kids

As a teenager I had to maintain the house and have dinner ready every night. In the summer I added mowing the lawn. It really hurt when people said I was a spoiled only child and got whatever I wanted. It wasn't handed to me, I earned it. This girl should have done whatever she could to help out. She could have used time on the internet to learn to cook or do other things in the house.

This is a great lesson in self reliance that I learned as a kid being raised by my dad and stepmother, who was his high school sweetheart. Like this lady, she was also a nurse working at a nursing home. I get what the staff can go through there. They keep an upbeat attitude around the patients, even when staff get kicked, hit, have their hair pulled, or have things, like bed pans, thrown at them. This lady is right about staff shortages and multitasking due to the burnout rate in healthcare. My step mom was a strict disciplinarian, and like this lady, never raised a hand in anger toward me. There were times she could go too far, and I would let things calm down , and confront her later. Yes, the kid confronting the mother. You do not need to swear at your kid calling them things like @$$hole, or even yell excessively. I get peoples point, so there's no need to push things too far. I am glad that my step mom was honest and direct though. She drilled common sense and responsibility into my head, and that got me through twenty two years of military service (Navy and Air Force)' as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Science. My stepmom was more of a mother than my biological mother ever was. She formally disowned me when I was 23, when I was living in Arizona, and moving back to Minnesota. She was a very emotionally unstable woman. This video, particularly the lady playing the mother, reminds me so much of what love my stepmother showed me growing up. Great lesson in self reliance shown here. "The grass isn't always greener on the other side." She could have also said to her daughter "'Someone else' is not always going to be there for you." This is well done ,and this lady playing the mother did very well. I feel bad not knowing her name. I will also say that this series, and ALL of these actors do very fine job presenting this material. It would be awesome setting up a chat or Question and Answer forum with these people. KZfaq makes things so relatable.

Yeah! This is where the parents are responsibility for their child's life! If you grow up in a hard times without all those expensive stuff then you'll know much about life how you see it and feel it! You do everything with your parents or just mom or dad! It teaches you as a child how hard it is that mom's or dad's job is working all day and coming home to do the chores around the house! Yes! Some parents are doing everything for their children even they work hard 24/7 and come home and had to do the chores while their children are laying around with their phones or out with their friends while they don't do chores around the house! While mom is trying to finish up what needs to be done then the child comes home and ask mom where's the dinner 🍽️? The child should've done the chores but slacking back and not do anything to help their parents! This is why some children don't know anything about life when parents are gone! It's all goes back to the parents! This is why some parents can't deal with their children! They fight and argue all the time because they didn't taught them to do what they want their child to do! When you do things with your children from the childhood it helps a lot! This is how you earn your children's love and respect you and to reward them with anything not just money could be having fun with family out doors, going to the store and shop or watch a movie! Your children are the best character of the family when you raise them with respect and help you at all times! So they also teach them how to treat other people and they also work hard for themselves! All it take is to have respect and being responsible for your own actions and get them to what you want them to be! Then they remember and come back to you when you need it them! All it takes is to have respect and teach your children so they won't go jobless and with nothing in life! Life isn't fair and easy! 🤔

Same my son would love to become adult and live his own, he turn 18 and share an apartment with friend. After 2 weeks he keeps coming back every dinner and does his laundry😂 after 3months he move back until now he’s 24 and still live with us. But this time he was more responsible, he knows to pick up some grocery, cleaning his room and washroom, specially giving me half of our mortgage every month ❤ Kids sometimes need to learn the hard way.

Very beautifully portrayed. Alas some kids just can't learn any lesson as in this Act. Let's hope before life teaches they learn at home. Fortunate are such kids who learn by themselves. But lots of issues are prevalent that hinders growth of some. Very educative. Kudos for the concept. Purely psychological approach.

I feel so bad she has a mother like that parents think that they can make the kids do everything and they can sit around all day and do nothing this is why parents don’t deserve kids because parents need to be taught a lesson on how to take care of the kids instead of treating them like slaves
