I realize John Deacon was the shy and quiet one in the band , but I think sometimes he doesn't get the credit he deserves for his incredible and precise Bass style. Also for authoring a few of Queens number one hits such as "You're My Best Friend" and another one Bites The Dust". I think a song that really shows his incredible versatility is the song from the "Day At The Races " record called " The Millionaires Waltz" .

@@XplozoneReacts In some of the concert videos, John gets his dancing groove on. So fun to watch him having fun. Glad you're taking your son down the Queen rabbit hole journey. Show him White Queen and then Black Queen. Off their first album. He will probably be shocked to learn how many genres of music they write. ( As I'm writing this I realized I should have checked your play list as you may have already listened to them. Innuendo is also an intriguing song and video. One of my personal favorites. Enjoy! Queen Fact - Brian May with his dad built the guitar (the red special). its made from, a fire place, motor bike springs, a knitting needle, and various bits and bobs, Brian also uses a six pence (old money coin) as a plectrum, - listen to the album version of The Prophets Song and then directly after listen to Love of My Life as they blend in to each other.

I agree with you on everything you said here. I feel John is underestimated for his contribution to the band. His song 'Another One Bites The Dust' gave them their biggest selling single. He originally started out playing a rhythm guitar at school but changed to bass when the group he was in from school, lost their bass player. I think that helped him handle the bass guitar so well and when they were recording in the studio, he was able to fill in the bass to keep that well known timing along with Roger's drums. That's a reason why they were so good as a live band. Their timingwas spot on because they all were in unison with one another. They looked at their fellow band mates to synchronise everything down to their last note. John couldn't return to the stage after losing Freddie. Some fans wanted him to carry on with Brian and Roger but he had lost his rock and although I loved to hear him play, I can't criticise him if that was how he felt. Have you ever watched and listened to 'Liar' I think it was performed at the Rainbow? Not sure if it was 1974 or before then but it was when they still had long hair and black costumes. In this one, Brian, Roger and John get to play solo on their instruments. I find it very entertaining and I love that bass. I have been a Queen fan from the beginning but I also followed ELO from Birmingham. They are another 70s to present day, group although its now Jeff Lynne's ELO. Jeff perfected blending orchestral music with electric guitars and keyboards. These too have a huge catalogue of hits. Nice to see a family from my home country doing music reactions. Keep up the good work. Sorry this is so long.

I actually stood on Roy Woods foot when he was behind me in the sweet shop on the way home from school. Well where else do kids go when there's a sweet shop on the route home. He used to practice in the church hall that was in the road I grew up in. I will look forward to some memories then. I remember him in The Move singing BlackBerry Way. We recorded it on the old fashioned real to real tape recorder. Only threw that away in March 2019. It's funny, I could never get my kids to listen to my music but it would be great to have a new generation of Queen and ELO fans. We were lucky in the 70s and 80s to have these bands and also The Bee Gees. All of them great legends. Glad I found your channel. 👍

HEY FELLAS, Watching you guys discover music together is so AWESOME... and, GREAT intro! ;D FYI... There's an extended version of this "Dragon Attack" performance; it was actually part of a medley, I guess you'd call it? They started with "Now I'm Here" then Freddie went into that crowd interaction/"Dragon Attack"... then, where this video cut off, they were about to finish the last part of "Now I'm Here" (called a Reprise). Personally, I think the best video of this to watch is the one where it doesn't cut the end off/you get to see Freddie/Brian transition smoothly into the end of that other song. SO, here's a link to that version of the performance. Not to do another reaction for, but just for you fellas... When you have a few minutes, you could just watch it yourselves... You'd really like it! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l72nhpqhst_Mc6c.html REQUESTS: "ACTION THIS DAY" LIVE AT MILTON KEYNES BOWL, 1982 "UNDER PRESSURE" LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM, 1986 QUEEN'S FULL 20-MINUTE LIVE AID SET, PLUS....
