He came into a restaurant I worked at and he was just like any other person having dinner.No one would have noticed if they hadn't overheard the conversation that's how he was ...out just wanting to have dinner and we didn't bother him so he could enjoy himself.I can't imagine how it feels to never go anywhere without people trying to take your picture or get you to sign something....it is nice to let our entertainers have a life too ...they deserve it.😘😘

I've been beat down and broken by what thought when I met her in 1979, was God sending me an angel, to help in my new found sobriety. For 30 years we hung tough through the good times and bad. We saw The Kid for the first time in an arena in Wilkes Baree PA, it was great. After that we saw him a few more times together, then we started drifting apart. On 12/7/2015 things were so bad for so long, even my dog was on Xanax. That morning he couldn't get up, we put him in the truck & she called me & said, "You overdosed your dog asshole" He was my best fried, I was blessed with him after some scumbag beat him so bad he was afraid of everyone but me & I thought he was dead.Something snapped & I did something I never ever thought I'd do. I tried to take my life. And like all strong willed people, I tried hard. Somehow I survived & after 24 days in a coma I woke up. From ICU, I wound up in the nut wing. After the Dr. saw me after the holidays, he called in the nurse & said, "Cut this suicide watch bracelet off this man. He's not suicidal, he went 5 years of spousal abuse, thought his dog died, had an episode, survived SOMEHOW. (They said I did enough drugs to kill a horse)When my now EX got the call to come get me, she said "He's not coming here & if he tries, I'll get a PFA & he'll get locked up. This was the beginning of a ride that some how, after being a vegetable for over a year, while she bounced me around to horrible places, having a nervous breakdown. Spending 30 days in another nut wing, coming out & moving into a PCH with 12 lunatics, disgusting food & I was eaten alive by bedbugs.After making enough noise to the State Director, they put me in a bigger nut house aka, PCH, where EVERYONE of the 52 people there were seriously fucked up. Long story short, I got evicted, was homeless (BUT NOT ACCORDING TO THE VA, who to this days does little for most vets, if anything at all)I lived in a hotel for 6-8 months, wracking up over 13K in C.C. debt. In January of 2019, I found the place I'm at now. It's OK, decent food, some very sick staff, the hardest part is having no one to talk with, as most here are 2-3 hundred years old. I have a small room that has over 30 guitars & tons of other RnR meoribilia. I live in a daily state of pain, depression, anxiety & loneliness. Yet some how, I wake up every morning, thank God for another day & ask him to help me bring laughter & a smile to someone that needs it. I get dressed, walk down the hall, with a smile on my face & in my heart, with my head held high. I keep moving on, "Only God knows why" Thanks Kid. PS: My income is 2,300 a moth, my rent is 2,700 a month & I have bills up the wazoo, collections keeping telling me how important it is they get their money. I tell em if it's that important, find someone who has it. My EX lives rent free in my house I can't go in ,makes over 100K a year & doesn't have to pay me a dime. Talk about "Scumbag lawyers with agendas"
