@@theeber9724 lol no problem. I grew up in New York where this dance originated. In this dance culture when someone does a really exceptional move you know from the energy of the people around you that everyone is going to “lock in” which is what they call it

I still watch this all the time. One of patt best battles of the new Era of lite feet. Once the swisstvbhbc channel disappeared that was right around the time when lite feet went through a change. It became more like what is it today w alot more complex combos and unique moves and finishers, alot more footwork too. And also shoe tricks were used less and less and hat tricks were more popular. I believe that this is one is definitely one of patts best battles but I can't say ever cause I can't compare it to all his old ones so I have to break them into parts . Before is during the swisstvbhbc era and now is the present like from after swiss tv til now "modern litefeet"

When you say stomp i assume your talking about something like 3:43? If you are that's called a Lock In. Its a move in Lite Feet that basically ends or "locks in" everything you did previously to that move. Thats why everybody goes crazy, because its the successful completion of all the moves, then your locking them in and ending it with the Lock In.

tell me about this style of battle. what are the spectators chanting in rhythm with the dancer? somehow, i just ended up on this video and got totally mesmerized with it. watched all 10 minutes then watched another then another then another. and, what is it with this song? it's the same song in nearly all of the videos!!! very cool. very energetic. this is pretty dope stuff. makes me wish i was a teen again.

It's called Lite Feet. It's a New York originated dance. You dance in a certain rhythm to a "Lite Feet Beat" and create moves as you go. A lot of teens do this in NY.
