So... A screenplay of your life. Good job continuing to work on it. I have been encouraged to write a book. Laptops are not comfortable for writing. My Dad recognized my appreciation of movies. I appreciate what I cannot do on my own. Write a screenplay, not a book. Make the thoughts appear alive, via description, detail, and care. Never be discouraged. Work is difficult. Fuck everyone else. Are they writing a screenplay? Nope. Be well!

Refreshing and super funny! I agree with the rest, this should become a staple! Side note: I'm surprised that people don't think kids can write this. I'm a teacher, and their creativity always stuns me ... believe me, I've seen them write even funnier, more creative and more imaginative scenes than these. I do take exception to the one supposedly written by a six year old ... that point where Birdwoman insists on a different billing is more adult thinking than a six year old's.

The top billing joke has been done everywhere though. I am pretty sure I have seen it on Spongebob and on Phineas and Ferb, so it was probably "borrowed" humor from some similar source.

Kids today also consume SO much more media than their parents did at the same age, particularly TV, and particularly drama traditionally targeted at older people. Kids are EXTREMELY good at absorbing dialogue from TV shows, and even though they don't always understand WHY something is funny, they can often work out WHAT is funny and WHEN it is funny. I can totally see a kid hearing the billing joke, working out its a joke to do with birds, and reusing it even if they don't actually get the joke. And, of course, some six year olds are just really good with language. I mean, even if you take someone like Noah, the apparently kid, who wasn't even in school when his first video happened. He doesn't do puns, but he has a wickedly dry sense of humour for a kid his age, and I'd bet you about 80% of it is just what he's absorbed from other people and worked out the kinds of context certain things are funny in.

The script doesn't give any stage direction so it could just be birdwoman musing over being married and simply happening to say the names in a different order. If he had it read it in a different tone that joke might not even have registered.

The whole concept is brilliant. From the simple, innocent, funny and witty dialogue written by children, acted out by adults, the hilarious delivery by both Michael Keaton and Jimmy, the serious delivery of the scene description by Higgins to the background music provided by the Roots, setting the tone. More please!

Wow, that second one was such an emotional rollercoaster! You had the joyful introduction, followed by the main character's aspirations and strife, and then the big twist reveal, all concluding with some light comedy. I feel like both actors really brought their best into these rolls.
