Hi I just bought an x-ergo, I loved the clipper but only the issue is it’s getting hot in my hand after using 10/15 munites. Not the blade, blades are staying cool but clippers body itself. I’m curious about if something wrong with motor or battery. Also its my first magnetic motor clippers. Maybe it’s normal for them. Have you experienced the same issue

I never had that issue before and I’d use it until it died

Tape up the outside of the body & any clear see through windows, and take out the internals. Spray the top and bottom lids with 3-4 coats of high heat paint! Put it back together. If still to warm, tape the top lid, and spray the bottom of the clipper with the same paint and let it set and cure. It should help. I ve done it to a set of old t outliners

I’m not sure though. Are you trying to put a x ergo lid on an original and pass it as an x ergo 🤔 😂

Is the only difference really the blade?

The blade and the shape of course. I didn’t notice a difference in power honestly.

@@Vegitobluuuuu i personally didn’t notice a difference in performance in either. They both cut well but other than the blades and ergonomics i didn’t notice a difference

@@Vegitobluuuuu its a great machines but if theres a torque difference, there wasnt enough for me to tell the difference. They cut different for me only due to the type of blade they have and thats why my first gen has the faper blade because it cuts the best IMO
