Yes, I've went skydiving for my 18th birthday. The aftermath is that I couldn't hear well for a few hours & headaches

In my home city in Bulgaria there is a small parachute "factory" (it's really very small....... 😂) that forces job applicants (the serious people who passed the interview and showed the needed skills) to do a tandem parachute jump - the boss says that they have to understand what the nature of the product and the job is 😂 If they refuse - no job for you ...

Several years back while I was in the navy I went skydiving and it was a spur of the moment thing. Someone dropped out of my roomates group so I got the invite as they were leaving. I LOVED it. But I do remember one of my first thoughts as I was signing the waiver That said I acknowledged that skydiving is considered an extremely dangerous activity. I was thinking that the guy that was doing the tandem jump with me said this was his 5ooo+ tandem jump as an instructor. BUT how do I know thats true? What did he say to the first paying customer he flew with? "Dont worry.....Im greener than F^%&ing grass"? For all I know I was his first professional jump.

To answer Kidds question, remember in the story , Mr Ballen said that the guy had a knife and tried to cut one of the parachutes off but couldn’t because they were falling so fast he couldnt reach the knife

Salute to dave big respect to my man! I've done this strapped to someone. It's cool icould definitely see why people make it a lifestyle but for me it was just something off the bucket list. It's not as scary as you think. For me it was when your at the edge of the door and everything in your body is telling you to backout as you stare from the sky. It's expensive bout 400 for 1 person but theirs also deals too. Glad idid it but not for me
