The reason it says Tanya for Darrius is because there are characters that are kameos (sidekicks) that help you in the fight, even tho they did the fatality ur main character for example, subzero is still gonna get the name called out "Subzero wins"

The demon is Sareena and she portaled in, not from the body. In this game, there are kameo fighters who aid the fighter that selected them, and they each have 1 fatality that is based on one they had in their debut game.

Mk1 has cameo characters so you pick your main fighter and then you pick your kameo character so when the black guy showed and it said Tanya she was the main fighter but they use the kameo character to show off his fatality and this goes for any kameo character

The reason we see Johnny Cage's fatality's again is because one is the Jean Claude Van Damme skin. The game is very good and very much worth it.

17:53 You thought the guys name was Tanya, that's because Tanya (the girl behind him) was picked first in character selection menu. Basically his name isn't Tanya it should be Darrius, just a quick fact because most of there names were mismatched for that same reason. edit: Forgot to say love the video, and definitely should try playing MK1 it would be really cool. 💖💖

reason why u saw the fatality twice the same one cause one was the normal johnny cage and the other was a premium skin of the real jean claude van damme as johnny. reason that was that done because originally mortal kombat was gonna be a pure van damme game but jean claude turned it down 30 years ago so now hes in this game 30 years later comes full circle and also megan fox voices the vampire nitara and also they gave cameo characters which helps them during the fight and they have their own fatalites example sonya jax stryker to name a few
