They made him so racist because he's supposed to be the show's commentary on racist conservatives lol. I doubt anyone comes close to the level of unhinged he is. He's so bad that when they were rewatching the series to determine if they were going to continue Boondocks they said no just because of his ass. xD Funny as hell, but more so in context. Out of context he makes the show look worst than it is. xD The humor in him is he comes out of nowhere saying the things he says.

He firmly believed that he was a white man who suffered from a (made-up) skin disease that has a polar opposite effect of what Michael Jackson had. But that was until [SPOILER ALERT] he took a DNA test to find out that he’s 102% African (with 2% margin of error) and lss.: he fell into depression, tried to live like a black man but couldn’t and tried to off himself but got stopped in the last moment by his doctor and the producer of the show of which Uncle Ruckus was a main star of. Then the doctor handed him a “re-done” DNA test which stated that UR is 50% Caucasian and he was back to his former self.

Uncle Ruckus managed to shock and offend me more than any other film or tv show I’ve ever seen, and I saw Birth of a Nation for a college class. Funny as hell man, the writing is fantastic on the show.

Ruckus is probably one of the best and worst parts of the Boondocks. Aaron McGruder made that Uncle Tom one of the most hilarious characters in the show. Ruckus would probably be the reason why Boondocks wouldn't be shown today. People have gotten too sensitive today for this show!

There's a couple things Ruckus said that are relevant with race relations in the US today that immediately came to mind: ¹) His "Wasn't nothing wrong with slavery" song is based off of an old generations-long racist talking point, which is currently about to be officially taught in the Florida schools as a part of the new reactionary "anti-woke" movement & subsequent bills that have been passed. ²) At 5:37 when he said he isn't even allowed to use the front door: where I live there's these buildings called "80/20" buildings which are new "luxury" developments that have to set aside 20% of their units at lower income and/or "affordable" (totally not affordable btw) prices. When they first started this program, they were forbidding the people in the "20%" income level to use the front door. Just pure fcking evil, smdh 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
