glad we have people uploading stuff like this lol just like cee, i'm too drained after the other dahmer series, only got through episode 1 of the tapes usually true crime doesn't mess me up too terribly, but sitting through a series for days at a time was a bit much. gotta take breaks

Based On what insanity is, it is a legal term, not a medical term. By definition the only thing that would determine Dahmer as Insane is if he knew what he did was wrong or not. If he saw killing people as something that isn't bad or unnatural, than yes he would be consider insane. Although because he DID know what he was doing was bad, and was constantly trying to suppress these urges of death and causing it. He would be consider not insane. So by definition of the term No I would not consider him insane. He's just troubled individual, and the fact that he ultimately tried his best to be "normal" and get rid of this dark part of him. He just couldn't, which in a way really is unfortunate.

True there's many other outlets to release ones feelings, but those other outlets don't satisfy the urge to kill . Given his mother's drug use, some 40 pills a day while pregnant and his father admitting that he suffered the same thoughts as J. D. ,I sway to the theory that some are born damaged.

yeah i notice some true crime zaps her out more than others ): glad they try to do neutral and happy topics in between worst i've seen her effected was during 911 calls reaction, understandably

Dahmer, upon leaving the army ended up in Florida. He said he "found" a body in a small storage building behind the sub sandwich shop he worked at. He was also driving a blue van of the owners of the sub shop . The mall where Adam Walsh was taken was nearby. A blue was was seen with a man and child in it and the witness said the child crying. But Jeff said he didn't take Adam Walsh.

Actually with Steven Hicks, it was more of like a react without thinking i'm sure he didn't mean to kill him he didn't go in with the intent to kill him but when he realized he panicked and reacted in a way that he shouldn't have and the impulses on top of that. it's very complex and it's sad all around.

It was the Exorcist 3.One of the main characters was a serial killer. Dahmer's bought a pair of yellow demon eye lenses that he wore and looked similar to the demon in exorcist3

Some of y'all are saying if he would've come out as gay, everything would be fine. That's incorrect. This was back in the 80s, AIDS wasn't taken seriously. Coming out as gay in the 80s was a bad idea for anyone who was gay. The judging people faced from being gay was far worse in the 80s than it was in the 90s. Coming out as gay today, it's seen as brave. Coming out as gay back in the 80s was seen as taboo. People back then were ridiculed for being gay. They were bullied harshly. Even back then, AIDS was called GRID. It stood for Gay Related Infectious Disease.

I really feel very bad for Jeff, of all the serial killers, he is by far the most interesting and inspiring. I would have loved to stay with him for some time.
