Thanks so much for such an informative presentation on kidney disease. You are so right that it can be asymptomatic mine was in stage four when diagnosed. It has been a battle but with diet and strictly following my doctors advice I have been able to stay off dialysis for seven years now.

Thank you for this video, my mother has been going to a kidney specialist for 6yrs and they never told us about diet and certain medications. We have learnt more of you in 30 mins than we have in 6 years. Unfortunately my mother has to go on dialysis now and is under different specialists who have explained a bit more than the previous ones. When I got diagnosed with HSV 2 it was hell for me, had the worst days, Mental breakdown, crying not eating or sleeping either. I'd like to comment that I lowered my creatinine in one week from 1.37 to 1.23. I went to my Rheumatologist for gout and she measure my GFR and Creatininne. and it had risen. So I changed my diet that week. And a little over a week later I went to my Kidney Doctor and got tested. And everything had improved. I thought I was eating too much protein as I learned from your vids. So I ate less protein -fish and chicken was my mainstay. And went to a more vegetarian diet, ate more veggies and fruit, tofu, etc.. Adjusted my serving size of each meal. So I was able to improve. I asked my Kidney doctor if diet protein, etc effects my numbers, and she didn't think so! But I proved her wrong. Also, I was itching quite a lot and realized the cereal I ate was causing the itch. Because I tried it today for a snack and within an hour of eating it I started itching again. So I'm beginning to get a sense of my body and how it reacts to food. I am very pleased to be able to improve my GFR and Creatininne with diet. And hope to improve it further. Thanks for the info! I am 67 and my mother died of Kidney Disease at a ripe old age, so I know what can come down the road if I don't play it smart. There are a few things worth trying drink lots of water. eat watermelon - this can reduce kidney disease . try taking vitamin A and drink coconut water - these help reduce kidney disease naturally. cut down on tomato, cucumber, spinach and fizzy drinks. (I learned these and the reasons they work on Jaylands Kidney Kit website )

By the way, the part about baking soda is really interesting. A lot of patients in my channel #00kidney ask me about baking soda and how they can use it to help with kidney problems. Thanks for this webinar. It has opened up my eyes on several issues that I am currently experiencing. For over a year now, my doctors can not explain the blood in my urine. Also, my blood work from a early ago shows my EGFR is an 87. This is telling me I could be a stage two according to your CKD chart.

I had damage from meds for Gurd they have me on for year's I skip as much as I can then I got hyperthyroidism I have had dyes impinging then Covid which damaged my kidneys more it hurts in my back and my urin is hard to pass I would be interested in taking test. Medicine

Having impaired kidney function does not only affect the person who has it but it also affects his loved ones, in many ways. It has a physical, emotional and financial impact on the whole family. Kidney disease takes a toll on the family physically. My mother and mother in law took care of their husbands full time. My mother in law even resigned from her job as a teacher because my father in law had to go to the hospital three times a week or more for treatment of kidney. A dialysis session could last 4-5 hours and his schedule could be as early as 6 in the morning to late at night. In my father's case, more time is sometimes required as he went to a government nephrology hospital and there are a lot of kidney patients on queue. Is that something that you can order online? My husband is in kidney failure/ receiving dialysis, is there a natural way to help his kidney function increase at this point? He's fine with dialysis, but he's still nauseous and feels short of breath, which is scary for him,, but those are both symptoms associated with kidney failure. He takes Reglan, Zofran, and Simethicone 1-4× a day and some days he still throws up/ is miserable from nausea and nothing seems to help this. Is there a natural nausea treatment? He's in the hospital so I'm researching online to see if there is anything I can find to successfully treat his nausea myself as nothing they are giving him have helped at all.

here's a few tips worth trying drink plenty of water. eat watermelon - that can reduce kidney disease naturally. try taking pomegranate seeds and drink coconut water - these can cure kidney disease naturally. avoid meat, cucumber, spinach and fizzy drinks. (I learned these and the reasons they work on Jaylands Kidney Kit site )

I have a niche issue of kidney and liver scarring due to years of undiagnosed/untreated Wilson's Disease. (diagnosed 10+ years ago). So in my case, I have a low GFR but the rest of my numbers are good, and already following a very restrictive diet. Due to long-term low GFR (Stage 3) I have degenerative bone disease and anemia.
