Hey hey! Today we're sharing Episode 2 of our Boys Bedroom Makeover Series... this week is Liam's bedroom! He is 8... almost 9, and he wanted a Gamer / Minecraft & Pokemon Bedroom Makeover... and as usual, it was all done on a budget!! We also added a custom DIY wood accent wall & created a super functional & chill bedroom for him with all his favorite things. And I love that he can change out some decor & it will easily grow with him throughout the years! Everything we used in todays room makeover is linked below (as well as the giveaway info)... I would have to say Liam's room is my favorite so far. Love the accent wall with the wood ledge look. My daughter loves Pokémon and Roblox. She also animates and is a gamer so alot of the things you put in his room are giving me ideas for her room.

Oh my word..you guys did an absolutely amazing job. The half accent wall is so cool but my favorite thing is the notes you all wrote on his chalk board and his reaction is so heart warming. The love you put in is so transparent. Looking forward to the next as usual 🥰🥰

You two make the word "makeover" so easy and not overwhelming! His room turned out awesome with all the little details you've added without costing an arm and a leg. Luke's reaction to the lava lamp is so pure, "I want a lava lamp" lol. The accent wall looks so stylish ….. love it ! Great that Liam can get to his books easily. As a child I was always reading , Enid Blyton “ the secret seven” and “ the famous five” were favourites! I loved the Nancy Drew adventures too . I am totally in love with this makeover. I love how you found a new way to express his love of games. The difference in his old room and his new room is night and day. I kept wondering how you were going to top the old house boys rooms but I tell you you come thru every time. Best part is seeing how much he loves and appreciates everything you guys did for him. I agree about the navy color growing with them. We painted a navy accent wall in my youngest nursery but then a few months back my boys swapped rooms and we kept the navy accent wall and it worked in our oldest decor also. I love their rooms! Great job guys, y’all never fail to amaze me

Love themed children’s rooms that show cases their interests. That shelf above the bed is awesome. I can’t figure out how the cubed light works. It’s amazing. Years ago when I was little we were on holiday and there was a shop that had a window full of lava lamps light up at night . We had never seen one before . It was mesmerising.

Love Liam’s room! Will be alot better for your son; easier to do the bed for him. One thing missing is a reading lamp over his bed so he can read his books before bed; he sounds like a big reader so this would help him. Maybe just a clip on or a sconce? And yes, I prefer Liam’s room cause of all the neat things but they are both real nice.

I love the Tetris style light - it is so cool! 😉I also loved reading as a child and still do. My favourites were Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton. It is so difficult to choose a favourite as they are such individual spaces. The messages to Liam on his chalk board is very special 🥰

The accent wall is stunning! I can’t believe how different the room looks when you didn’t do over the top changes. My son is 14 and he was in love with this room, he walked by and said he wants that Tetris/block light 😂… the boys writing on the chalkboard was so freaking sweet. I really thought the Utah rooms were gonna be my favorite, but I love these!
