Did a Maryland couple harmlessly prank their children or outrageously commit child abuse? In a video on the dad's KZfaq channel, DaddyOFive, the mom holds a bottle of magic disappearing ink. "I'm going to squirt it all over his carpet and start flipping out," the mom, Heather, says in the video. Then she screams for her 10-year-old son, Cody. "What the [bleep]!" she screams. "I didn't do that!" yells Cody. He and his brother burst into tears, shattered to be so falsely accused. #InsideEdition

Mental abuse comes in all different shapes and forms and this is mental abuse whether they meant it or not. The video actually brings back flashbacks of my childhood. Being screamed at for things you didn't do and being brought to tears over it is not okay. Especially when it's your parents doing it. Even if this wasn't a prank that's not the way to speak to your kid when you think they've done something wrong. Look at their faces at the end of the "prank". They look completly dejected. It is not okay to prank your kids like that...be a decent parent and swap their oreo cream out for toothpaste.

They didnt take him because he smeared poop on the wall, a common symptom of PTSD/severe abuse in children. Lets be real, they would have found another reason to prevent him from going anyway. The fact that you cant see that this is abuse suggests that either you went through it too (trying to normalise your abuse so you dont have to admit it), youre an abuser yourself or youre just an idiot.

I used to have to go to my dads house where i had an abusive step mom i remember december 2nd 2017 saturday night i was watching a youtube video and then she came up the stairs and no joke kept following me and it was creeping me out so i went downstairs to my dad and my step mom kept screaming at my dad and she was saying horrible things about my mom and my dad and in the past she mentioned some pretty messed up things to me but that night was awful december 3rd 2017 was my last day there

When I was 7 my mother did something just like this and started yelling at me and made me cry and literally have a mental breakdown. It was only one time but I still feel traumatized and scared of my mother. Even if the kids were fine afterwards this is still a horrible thing to do
