The kid who cried for her has a pure heart
@TheAndermany
@TheAndermany 3 жыл бұрын
That depends on what you define as pure, you see pure as the kid crying as a sign of compassion and sadness that the kid is sad for her knowing she's in pain while sometimes other peoples defenition of pure is the other kids, pure as in not knowing about the bad things being playful and young and not understanding how to react to someone with Alzheimers

Eduarda having empathy really sucks actually, you grow up to be an adult and reality of the world kills you slowly because you realize not everyone has that ability. People walk all over you. I hate being so empathetic so I'll try hard not to be but that's how I'm built.

Selena Jetlee without empathy you'd be a psychopath or a sociopath. Empathy is important... sure people will use you and whatever... but at the end of the day, it's better if you're kind to people. There's not a lot of people who show that they care about other people in this world. You don't know, you could save someone by showing a small act of kindness.
@xMitchieGoesRawrx

Wholeheartedly agree. Its sad that as people grow older, they start buying into preconceived notions and the majority lose their innate, inborn connection with all humanity, falling into the entrenched and divided factions separated by race, religion, age, sex, etc... I don't know if it was that child's parents, teachers, or who raised him to be so kind-hearted... All I can say is he seems to have a good head on his shoulders and I have how he will grow up and put that empathy to good use either though vocationally helping people, or just continuing to listen to people in need wherever he encounters them. Cheers, and happy New Years to all the kids in the video, and most importantly; Those who are struggling with this life changing disease on this New Years. I wish all of you the best. ;-)

I think Alzheimer's is way worse for the family members that are around than for the patient him/herself, because they don't experience the severe memory loss consciously, and by the time they die from this desease they've pretty much become a vegetable. Dying from Alzheimer's is a more mercyful way to go than a fukkin stroke or ALS or cancer. If I had to chose between those options I'd definitely prefer Alzheimer's.

Alzheimer's is one of the saddest and scariest diseases to me. I mean, who are we without our memories? We pretty much ARE our memories and Alzheimer's in a sense, is literally a disease that takes away everything that built you to be who you are. And to think there is no cure and people just have to accept it while their loved ones watch... it's too tragic.

Alzheimer is a form of dementia, and there's actually more forms than only Alzheimer. Alzheimer is the most common form though, I always think it's heartbreaking to know that everyone with dementia will end up not being theirselves anymore :/ I've worked as a nurse for demented people and the ones who have already passed quite a few stages of the disease are just a shell of a human, it's so sad :(

You can tell that kid really thought about it and how she can't remember even her own friends names. He's one of the few kids who have empathy, it's really hard to find pretty much anyone with empathy for a complete stranger. Atleast not in the internet, pretty much everyone down here is sad for her.

It was so sad when she mentioned the baby part. She knows that one day she'll forget how to eat, how to dress herself, and other basic human necessities. She knows the path she's going down and she knows that there's nothing she can do to stop it. Makes me want to cry.

No, this is a persona that she shows. She is not happy, no person with Alzehiemers disease could be happy. I work at a retirement home and have many trainings on Dementia. Alzehiemers is a branch of Dementia, other disorders of Dementia are: Lewy Bodies, Vascular Dementia, and fronto-temporal dementia. We are oftently taught on when a person with alzehiemers repeats something back, it is proper to act like nothing has happened before. This is sympathy, and a form of therapy (I forgot the therapy name but it is the opposite of validation). I do take into prospect that I am talking specifically about the incident where the child in a blue long sleve sweatshirt of asian decsent says to lady that she repeated something twice. I saw the lady with alzehiemer become distraught. It becomes depressing in hindsight. She should be displayed as a women with defined hope and a passion. She was once a lawyer. --- I just want to spread the information that I have learned in my trainings. I was actually saddened, hell, she sort of detached herself from the conversation. Many blessing for all of the folks. God bless.

What a lovely lady. How she explained her problems to these lovely kids. So calm, making it easy to understand, her laugh. She seems like a very sweet grandma. Hope she is ok, and her illness goes very very slowly. Bless this beautiful soul.

She seemed such a lovely, positive lady. She doesn’t deserve Alzheimer’s (And just to clear it up, nobody deserves Alzheimer’s, I didn’t just mean this lady. But maybe if you think that playing a certain game means you deserve it, then you’re the 1% that does)

my nana has Alzheimer’s and she’s in the nursing home :( she was diagnosed about two years ago i’d say and my other nana died two days before christmas this past year. her funeral was planned purposely the day after christmas so we wouldn’t be able to go but we ended up going thankfully.
