I just love how delicate wheein is with the kids. And even as a person. She's the type of person that is so authentic to themselves and their work. I found out about Wheein (and mamamoo) at a time in my life when everything felt miserable and grey and I'll never forget the joy she brought me. I know it sounds trivial to react like this but seeing her stand out on her own makes me so happy I get teary eyed.

That's what I like about children. They are often still intuitively authentic and creatively free and honest. Wheein has been able to preserve these impulses a little and I think this is what makes her so special. What makes her seem so versatile and a natural artist. Cotton Candy

Wheein is such an inspirational person. She still gives it her all whenever she's hurting emotionally and physically. Considering that she was poor in the beginning, it must have took a lot of strength to pursue music especially since it isn't really a career that would ensure a sufficient living unless you know people in the industry or if you work hard enough. I strive to be this strong of a person.

It's so good see Wheein interacting with kids with so much care. Seems like she toned down her beagle-ness so the kids are comfortable and not flustered. And it's rare to hear Wheein referring to herself as "unnie" or "noona"

This was so heartwarming. I’m a Hwasa fan for her beauty, swag and overall talent. But the more i see Wheein that saying of Once you Wheein, you can’t Wheeout, might just apply to me. All four have great voices but i won’t hesitate who has the best voice in that group. Just listen to I Miss You. It’s Wheein hands down. Wheein is gorgeous also.

I think their difference is the other one is introvert and extrovert but what really overwhelms me is that wheein is getting out of her comfort zone and more people are recognizing her. I just love her so much

She doesn't like cheap variety show that much.. that only ask stupid stuff rather than focusing on the music. if only she was given a platform and access to where she want to be promoted. Plus it's true, she did suffer anxiety... That she got some help for and now she's ready.

The agency should know which kind of promotion suits their artist. There are so many shows they could have sent her to but they chose to let her sit in the basement the whole of 2020.

@@afrinsayed5902 I think she truly might have felt this way because her former label did not give her the confidence she needed. She was very shy and I remember after releasing Easy she went on that radio show and said she had to take medicine beforehand because she was so scared and nervous. I think what she needed was help in getting confidence but they turned a blind eye to it.

She wasnt really deprived. She suffered from extreme anxiety and shame from when her father’s issues were brought to light. If you watch her on variety early on especially the one with heechul (the singing show not knowing bros) she was so so lively.

from what i know, wheein is the most anxious when not with her members or people she's comfortable with. rbw had been pretty good with letting her rest when she needed to, and never forced her to go where she didnt want to. my personal take on wheein leaving rbw is to leave her comfort zone. but also to find more creative freedom. rbw is one of the best when it comes to creative freedom, but i think wheein's creative ideas or maybe her way of expressing her ideas wasn't too aligned with rbw's. if you see the rest of mamamoo members, they do SO many activities. moonbyul releases SO many solos, hwasa and solar do a lot of variety contents, so i don't think rbw is the 'problem' here. wheein just needed an agency that's better suited for her. so yeah, i'm grateful she joined thel1ve and how they have been with her. but i don't think she was deprived, she just needed the push.

It's been 3 years since I started listening to mamamoo, and it has been such a joy to have known them. I get so emotional whenever I think about them. Seeing Wheein today, talking with these kids with such kindness, made me really emotional. I am so happy for her. I am so happy to see her shine so brightly. Even after all the things she went through, she came back stronger than ever and I couldn't be more proud of her. She is such an inspiration (along with the other mamamoo members). I love the interview. Wheein’s 2001 photo of her painting, she’s always been a beauty. Love how she smiled so brightly in that pic and the sparkle in her eyes. Her high school pic reminded me celebrities are just your everyday normal people you see if they weren’t celebrities. That means don’t judge a book by its cover. I’m glad she didn’t waste her talent. The kids were also adorably honest.
