Kids Mispronouncing Hard Words

2 жыл бұрынIn this video, Ava and Alexis go head to head in this fun game! Many people have trouble pronouncing common words daily. Not just children but also adults. In this twin vs twin game they will each try to pronounce 15 words (some are hard and some are a bit easier). The girls are great readers but dad tried his best to throw some tough ones in there! Dad is the judge, of course, for this fun learning activity. Do you think they will pronounce them all correctly? Comment below how they did!

I have watched these twins since their first video. I follow them on other platforms (their pictures are gorgeous btw!), and I still can't tell them apart. Justin is beyond an awesome dad!!

Their difference is at their jaw line. Ava's face is narrower than Alexis

"Tem-per-chure" is a perfectly fine way of pronouncing this word, and I don't care how many of the books I had growing up were obsessed with making kids pronounce the extra syllables that most people delete. It's like the difference between the people who say "lab-OR-uh-tor-ee" and "LAB-ruh-tor-ee" -- both are fine. Or "KER-uh-mell" vs. "CAR-mull".

Such an awesome learning video! Reminds me of when my brothersand I used to challenge each others with spelling and giving the definitions of words in the dictionary when we were kids.

Justin definitely got the pronunciation of a couple of the words wrong. Mischievous is pronounced (MIS-CHIF-VOUS) and he said calvary the first time when attempting to pronounce CAVALRY lol. Fun and educational segment.

Americans also pronounce futile wrong. They say words the lazy way. FuTILE NOT FuTOLL. MisCHEEvis is correct. MisCHUHvis is lazy American way. Not wrong per se but not exactly proper.

Ohhhhh Justin...you sneaky little devil. You tricked the girls with the "Cavalry" word. Based on the definition you gave, that word should be "Calvary." 😁😇❤🙌🏾

He wasn’t wrong. The definition he gave for cavalry is correct. However, he did pronounce it incorrectly.

The reason why the girls had trouble with "mischevious" is because Justin spelled it wrong. He left out the "i" between the "v" and the "o". But eventually the girls figured it out. Great job girls, on sounding out the words you've never seen before!
