That's a lovely thing to do. But being a Brit with the NHS which i thank God for everyday. I rage that your dad had that debt in the first place. Being ill should not put anyone into debt. Here he'd have got his treatment and no bill. His national insurance would have covered everything. Health should be a right not a f"&king privilege.

And of equal importance, they supported their children’s dreams and took care of them financially which helped their kids achieve success in the first place. Too many parents have the ‘once you’re 18, you’re on your own’ mentality which ultimately hinders everyone’s future. These parents deserve the world 👏🤍

God will reunite you with your beautiful parents. But we must follow God's way and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior for we are nothing without Him and doom awaits anyone that does not truly believe that Jesus Christ has saved all of us. Take heart. You are loved and God will surely reunite you and they are watching over you and you have already made them proud.

It is nice to see these types of videos but alot of children can hardly take care of themselves today so don't feel bad if you can't pay off a mortgage or buy your parent a car.... just be a good person and always be there for your parents and spend time with them. Always remember, you can't pay for more time with a parent so stay close!!

For all the years I was married I didn’t really get birthday presents or Mother’s Day presents unless I bought them for myself. I bought my own Christmas presents and wrapped them up for Christmas morning. A few years after I was separated and my boys both got jobs they surprised me by getting me an electric piano as a birthday/Mother’s Day (they are close together) as a gift to make up for all the years they weren’t able to get me anything on their own. It may not seem like much compared to these videos but it’s something they knew I’ve always wanted since I hadn’t had a piano in over 20years. I cried with such pride. They could have gotten me a card and I’d have been happy and they know that. It’s been a few years and I still get emotional every time I play it. Give them love and they will give you love back. Such beautiful videos!

The truth is that most of kids have no idea what a hard work and life dedication needed to raise a child, until they have a child of their own. We maybe do love our parents and see they work to provide us life and take care of us. But most of us wont truly appreciate our parents for what they did for them until we become a parent too.

Yep, I learned my lesson (the hard way) in my youth. DON`T GET INTO DEBT. If you can`t afford something, don`t adquire it. Period. (I have to admit, that this is easier done in Europe, where we have universal healthcare and a decent public transport system, and our college-prices are somewhat reasonable. If I lived in the US, although I would earn more money, I would have finished paying my student debts some years ago, and would be probbaly inmersed in paying my mortage, while I can`t simply figure out the imense amount of money I would have spended in medical care.....). Although the US runs the world, I think our way is better for the soul.

What I feel sad about is (as a non American) seeing a mother of a guy old enough to earn enough money to pay off someone elses student loans, still paying off her education! Although his reaction to his mum at 7:19 when she was crying and told someone "my son just paid off all my school loans", was so sweet, and you can see how good he felt doing that for her! Possibly the only time a guy is HAPPY to see his mum cry! As far as I'm concerned, this is definitely a case where all these kids deserve every cent they earn, and every success they get! Imagine the feeling, knowing you're responsible for your mother saying "we're free".

Im so happy for these families. I have been in school for so long studying day and night for years and years (over a decade since college) to become a doctor. I was always broke and my parents, especially my dad, always offered to help however they could. I could not wait to finally repay them. I am finally in my last year of residency, I have a job lined up soon, and my father was just about to retire (he had been through the military then worked day and night in construction 6 days a week to support us). He had all these plans for his retirement and we were so happy for him. One month before his retirement, he received a terrible diagnosis with a grave prognosis and is now bed-bound in hospice and may not even make it to my graduation from residency. Our lives took such a tragic turn right at the peak when it was finally going to go well. You never know what to expect from life and need to make the most of it whenever you can. Sometimes the world is just a cruel place.

Good. Without their parents, they would not exist to begin with. Its always good to see and hear these moments. Family first. Life is more important than money and objects. You could be the richest person on earth and I still don't care. Its the family relationship that matters more. Money is just a form of financial exchange or a form of barter for something in exchange. Rich or poor, who cares. As long as you treat your family well, you end up living a life of happiness.

The real lesson here for most of us is not to sacrifice everything to have your kids become professional athletes, but to live responsibly from debt from the start, and moments like these would be more common.

The best moment of my life was being able to prevent my mom from losing her house, my childhood home where she raised me for 20 years. This was right after Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

I will do nothing less for my mother. She absolutely deserves the world. My mother was a single mother to both my sister and I and we are 20 years a part. There is absolutely nothing I wouldn’t do for here being that she sacrificed so much for me in order for me to succeed and I am praying that God grants me the ability of many lifetimes to pay her back and take care of her for the rest of her life

Its a great feeling for a son/daughter to do something great for their parents. Fresh out of college I used my 1st year savings to buy my dad a working car and I drove 2000kms to deliver it to him. It was my first long road trip, ever. Some 15 years later, my younger brother who lived in another town comes across me in a shopping mall (he saw me on the street and followed me). The young man, also some years coming out of university was in town and had just spent his savings to buy our parents an SUV (city car). So, what we do as elder brothers or sisters, inform on our younger ones. Our Dad is no longer with us and I pray he is resting by the eternal light. Love you Dad and thank you for all your sacrifices for us.
