What a wonderful video. Makes me wish my kids were still kids. I'd pack them up and we'd move to Russia...only back then it was the 90s probably not the best time to be in Russia. In any case my grandkids are the same age as Max and Kristof. The Russians really do believe in family. Family is what has held humanity together for so many thousands of years. I don't think it's a coincidence that as the family has fallen apart in the west the west has become a haven of debauchery.

My son is a cattle farmer with 2 children. I have already recommended Russia for a couple of reasons. Because cattle farms here are under pressure to reduce or close. I have sent him the link to this post about schools and others you have done.

When I was too young i played ice hockey, played guitar, made painting, swimed, was a boxer, chesplayer and young radioengener.😅 And all of this activityyes was free for my parents. And now I can play difficult classiacal guitar music, can very good swiming, can play chess on good level and can kick ass somebody. My specialisation is technical cybernetic for financial technologies, payment sustems. Now i'm a chairman of financial holding. All my experiences and my success led me to my childhood and educatulion system of the USSR.

Thank you for this video - all my life we in the West were starved of real information about Russia only that they were the bad guys and to be feared. Frankly I feel deprived and lied to. I will say if I were a young family Russia is where I would be headed! The West is dying - its self destructing and Russia gives me hope of a decent life for families.

And one of the main thing is that you r studying with the same kids all 11 years. Maybe in high school you will have some different classes, but on main classes u will be together.

Russian maternity laws are one of the most progressive in my opinion. Were else in EU or Americas is a mom able to stay with her born child for 3 Years!!! And for 1,5 years she receives payment from the federal government and her work place remains. Also when mom bears her first child she gets 450KRub (~ 6000USD) and for the second born child she gets +250KRub (~ 3500USD). Totally for 2 children born in Russia 700KRubles. Plus to this sum - and it depends on the Region you live in - one month before estimated date of birth mom gets extra money from regional government (for example our children were born in Samara Region and for EACH child we got 100KRubles, totally 200KRub - ~2500USD. And from birth of a child mom receives monthly payment - for the first child 18KRub * 18Months = 320KRub (~4500USD) and for the second child 8,5KRub * 18Months = 150KRub (~2000USD). So for 2 children born in Russia nowadays mom totally gets 1,4 Mio Rub (aprox. 19000USD). And for the third born child you may get a 2 bedroom apartment from the government for FREE!!! Not instantaneously, you should wait 1-2 years - it depends wether a regional of federal budget has remaining money for it and wether construction firms have empty apartments, maybe they need to build a house first - but still you are going to get it.

Russian schools appear to be better in my view. New Zealand’s schools have gone backwards over the last 50 years

I was born in Soviet Union and went through Soviet school system. My daughter went to Canadian, it was so bad that I had to pull her back and put her in the private. Cost me a lot but I’m glad I did. Russian school was very tough but the system was so much better. I had to go school 6 day a week. When I was a kid I wished that we had 5 days only. In North America government school program is a joke.

Я ,как мама второклассника , скажу , что очень много учит... , но ! Я вижу результат, знает писателей и поэтов , много песен, математика ( как нас приучили в уме считать), я ценю .

8:11 продлёнка = “a group of a prolonged day”. I used to go to продлёнка when I was a schoolgirl. Our продлёнка had 2 rooms: a room for doing homework and another room with toys for playing. We had full dinner (soup, meat/fish with garnish and compote (different fruit boiled in sweet water)). Then we went for a walk for 1 hour. Then we were doing our homework. If a pupil has a question on his/her homework, he/she can always ask a teacher and get an answer. It was so helpful! After homework we played in the 2nd room. 8:49 oh, yes! The school-life was rich! We also went to excursions and theaters. The best excursion was to a confectionary! We saw how they make dough, creme, candies, cookies etc. And i’d like to mention that we have Handicraft lessons in Russian schools. Girls learn how to cook and sew. I saw an apron, a skirt and a blouse at school. Boys learn how to use a fretsaw, a drill and make some things from wood: Christmas toys, shelves, stools.

Даже в СССР можно было в особых случаях пойти в школу в 6 лет. В частности меня отдали в среднюю школу в 6 лет. Я умела к тому времени читать, писать и считать. Мест свободных в детском саду не было, родители были в командировке за границей, а бабушка с дедушкой не могла целый день посвящать мне все свое время, т.к. из детей я была не одна. Поэтому по разрешению районного комитета по общему образованию меня приняли в первый класс. Соответственно я закончила школу в 16 лет.

Я окончил школу в 2005 году (11 классов), и у нас еще были учителя советского времени. Все течет, все меняется, и сейчас уже учителя другие по внутреннему складу. Хорошо это или плохо - это спорный вопрос, но многое из того, что было в советской и даже в царской, дореволюционной школе, стоило бы возродить в современной школе, и это пошло бы на пользу не только детям, но и стране, так как сегодняшние дети - это завтрашние взрослые, которые и будут определять будущее государства, и от того на каких знаниях, морально-нравтсвенных ценностях они будут воспитаны зависит очень многое. See, that’s really smart that you have school that specialize in certain things and that you have school choice over there here it’s hit or miss depending on what state you’re in and for what it sounds like they’re not trying to indoctrinate your kids into some nefarious ideology. Let’s just put it that way.

Добавлю про дошкольное образование. Пока была родителем не особо задумывалась, что садик даёт моим детям. В силу обстоятельств прошла переподготовку на педагога и восхитилась подходом. Сейчас дошкольное образование базируется на ФГОС (федеральный государственный образовательный стандарт), который предполагает пять образовательных областей: социально-коммуникативное развитие, познавательно, речевое, художественно-эстетическое и физическое. То есть каждое занятие в садике продумано (годовой план) и прописано (технологические карты). Определённая тема, например транспорт, в течении недели изучается через все области развития, тем самым закрепляясь по всем каналам восприятия информации. И эта же тема присутствует из года в год расширяясь и углубляясь в соответствии с возрастом детей.

After 9th grade (a few after 8th) there's also an option to finish your basic education in college (trades school, not university), which is more specialised and usually have some work practice programms.

Maternity leave is granted for 3 years but the salary is only a percentage for the first year and decreases significantly for the next two years. The companies are reimbursed by the govt and so it is not the companies paying out of pocket but are following a mandatory policy of a subsidized policy. The decrease in wages during maternity leave, makes it difficult for single mothers to stay at home all that time and so many return to work in a year or a year and half. But those whose husbands/partners have a decent income, can and do avail the full 3 years. The best part of the maternity leave program is that the mother cannot be fired and if the position she left was not available, she has to be given an alternate position. So there is job security for mothers. This is important so that women are not discouraged from having babies, when the govt is keen reversing the declining demography. There are other subsidies too for new parents, such as partially written off loans for cars and houses.

Вы забыли упомянуть, что у нас родители также могут выбрать для детей такой вариант как "семейное обучение". С любого класса и по любой класс. Можно в любой момент перейти с семейного на школьное или обратно. По закону, для получения документа об образовании - можно сдать выпускной экзамен, прикрепившись к школе, вместе с другими школьниками. Но чаще родители выбирают сдавать еще и промежуточные экзамены - раз в год, в полугодие или четверть. По желанию. На семейном образовании родитель можеть взять из школы программу обучения или составить свою, приглашать преподавателей (сам или объединившись с другими такими же родителями) или учить ребенка самостоятельно.

Дай Бог здоровья и счастья вам и вашим деткам, а ещё сил и мудрости - чтобы дать детям хорошее воспитание, обеспечить их развитие; ведь в этом состоит смысл жизни настоящих людей.

для информации. В Москве и Подмосковье существуют кружки и секции на государственной основе. При школах часто бесплатные, но с оплатой материалов. Городские кружки - обеспечиваются полисом по одному на ребенка. То есть сейчас ребенок может ходить на кружок/спортивную секцию бесплатно (если работают по программе). Один полис = 1 кружок.

russia has no problem with any religion based schools which provide general education at the same time - russia has over 160 nationalities and languages who are part of russian world - all learn russian as the language of russia - but russia does not enforce russian on those who dont see it useful to them - for instance right in the center of russia - there are many lands such as tartaria, baskiria, etc - who dont have too many russian speaking folks in the suburbs - mostly in large urban cities and capitals - so russia isn't against anyone who chose to never speak russian fluently - but if they want to work for russian government then they truly need to know russian without accent - but many russian cities already have foreigners as mayors of their cities - they all speak fluent russian which they took roughly 5 years when completely submerged into russian speaking environment - in other words, foreigners are super welcome inside russia among average folks than anywhere in the world - plus you get to be treated like a human and not as another hated migrant like in most countries where nothing left for migrants - russia is simply huge in size (bigger than planet mars by square mileage) and has plenty of everything for those who wish to live happy -

My daughter 11 y.o. and went to private knndergarden in Ulyanovsk and now go to usual national school in Moscow, 6th class in coming September. As for kindergarten, it was so good sysytem imo, because they take care from 8:00 to 19:00 with 3 meals a day. In Japan such kindergarten ia very rare. As for school also good but it depends on classmates and their parents. Sometimes we met so strange classmate, i think because parents are strange so their children is strange, strange means that because of them teacher can not keep discipline in the class, and sometimes very difficult to keep class. There is old russian tv program "Школа" , reality is not so bad but in some points that program shows reality as i think.

Вы не сказали о существенном различии! Это то, что наши дети учатся практически с 1 класса в одном. Насколько известно, в американских школах классы ежегодно меняют , причем сами дети и родители выбирают , в каких классах будут обучаться. Некоторым иностранцам нравится больше наша система, так как дети лучше знают друг друга и гораздо дружнее.

Мамочке - прозондируйте для себя школу "Интеллектуал" на Кременчугской улице (м. Давыдково (БКЛ) - далее по Инициативной ул.). Школа-интернат (по будням и суббота) под патронажем МГУ для учащихся начиная с 5-го класса. Наша дочь в своё время заканчивала её - все выпускники этой школы поступили в ВУЗы.

A school that dosen't offer alternative sex options, and drag shows is preferable. Russian students not exposed to such perversion. Предпочтительнее школа, в которой не предлагаются альтернативные варианты секса и драг-шоу. Российские студенты не подвержены таким извращениям.

Paternity leave for three years that’s pretty good in America. It’s about six weeks but it could be extended depending on the company you work for now in Sweden they get like a year that’s what my cousin had when she had her first son

В школу можно пойти и раньше 6,5 лет, если ребенок опережает развитие, такие есть. Но для этого нужно пройти тестирование у педагога-психолога, чтобы он проверил его готовность к школе, интеллектуальную, личностную и эмоциональную готовность. Я педагог-психолог в детском саду и некоторых детей диагностировала, писала заключение для прохождения ПМПк (психолого-медико-педагогическая комиссия). Эти дети и правда были очень развиты, с хорошей осведомленностью и поступали учиться в лучшую гимназию города.

Вообще то я знаю огромное количество детей пошедших в школу с шести лет и даженеполных шести. Запрета на это нет, если согласна администрация и тесты подтвердили готовность ребенка к обучению. В сильных школах такие тесты проводятся обязательно
