Yeah, Scotch eggs are wrapped in sausage meat, which is herbed pork, and breadcrumbs. That looked more like some kind of pie than a scone. But coronation chicken is a pretty standard sandwich filling. Usually it doesn't get the honour of salad as well, but I don't see why it couldn't. Crackers and cheese is bang on picnic fare, though.

I think this goes to show that not everyone from a certain country is familiar will all of the even commonly know food variations. When people come on here and say something is wrong, they might be wrong. Of course, who are you going to believe is another question. Having said that, is there anyone who didn't think, "that's a scone? Not the kind I know of. Looks like pie."

That’s exactly what I thought too. When Turkish people go on a “picnic” its not like they say “let’s go on a picnic”. They literally go out, decide to go to a park or the seaside and on their way pick up snacks like su flower seed and some drinks and thats it. Maybe sandwiches are involved sometimes but really thats all. Everything else belongs to bbq as you said

The best thing is drinking milk or eat bread with olive oil. Sorry, if I wrote something wrong. My English is not that good.
